Great piece of work by a fine craftsman. Thanks for publishing this.
Thank you very much for your nice comment.
I am a professional in the field of industrial mechanics. I worked for many years at the AAB Group. I practically learned how to work correctly by watching and observing the most experienced professionals perform extremely important services that did not even allow for the possibility of error. The Itaipu plant was one of the most important projects that I was able to witness and participate in. I am very grateful for the opportunity that the company gave me and my many coworkers! Today I am 60 years old and practically retired, but I recognize a good professional and his qualities. That is why I would like to give you a warning: Always, always use safety tools, especially those for the professional's personal use. I watched this lathe operator at work and made sure to watch the video to the end, and at no point did he put on protective glasses or gloves! But he has my respect as a professional and I know that the rush and the company's need to deliver the order within the promised time sometimes makes us negligent when it comes to safety. Congratulations...
Hello, you have left a successful past behind you. I wish you continued success in the future. You are very right. I use all the equipment when necessary. Thank you for your comment.
Excellent manual machinist. High skills level.
Thanks bro 👍

Amazing work 👍🏻 you are a highly skilled machinists great work.
thank you very much my brother👍👍
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
👍👍👍
İyi çalışmalar 👏
Teşekkürler
Wow, very impressive, skilled and professional done. Two questions, what was the approximate weight of the piece and how long time did it take from start to finish to do the work.
.PS Always use safety glasses when working. I did the mistake of not using safety glasses, that was a painful experience…
Thank you brother, there was a lot of rust inside and outside of the forged steel material. It was around 5 tons. It took 3 days for the pre-welding process and I processed the flange in 1 day. The welding process took 1 day and the delicate process of opening the channels took 2 days.
Maşallah çok güzel bir çalışma olmuş
Teşekürler 👍👍
For those whose comments regarding safety, I totally agree. But I also understand that for workers who are used to their work, they just know when it is time to protect themselves with safety devices. They do this work every day, they are the one who know the situation and they know what they are doing and the risks. So, I believe they do things safely according to their judgements.
About the video, I enjoyed every second of it, especially the moment when other friends without being asked came to help with smile, I always admire this kind of teamwork. Greetings from Indonesia ✌✌💪💪
Thanks for your nice comment brother, yes we would not do anything that would endanger ourselves, of course we always prioritize our own health, teamwork in the environment we work in is at a high level, this also motivates us and pulls us to the top, I am also glad you enjoyed the video, greetings from Turkey
Great work! Please pay attention to safety. greetings from China.👍

Exemplo de trabalho, técnica organização e metas, parabéns... O mundo esta carente de proficionais Assim. Obs. Quantas horas de trabalho para a execução?
Thanks bro 👍

Wow! Impressive! Really heavy threads, and that boring bar, huge!
Really enjoyed your craftsmanship.
Unfortunately the video could be much better, all those unnecessary and restless camera movements give me motion sickness.
Thanks bro, I'm glad you liked the video. Unfortunately, I can only shoot as much as I can.
Du machst diesen Job wirklich gut🫡
Danke, Bruder, ich gebe mein Bestes🙂👍
Buen trabajo!
Thanks bro
Well, this is something else than my small hobby lathe. Very impressive.
Thank you brother, we are doing our best, let's grow it on your loom one day.🙂
Kolay gelsin maşallah
Teşekkürler sağol 👍👍
What about the other parts of the Cylinder and Complete assembly, testing and painting video.
Of course, I would like to shoot the whole process, but I work as a lathe operator and I shoot my own handiwork and share it with you. Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to shoot the whole process.
Müthiş bir iş büyük emek var gerçekten
Teşekkürler kardeşim
Wow, this is very impressive. These peoples skills and their willingness to work together is amazing.
Thanks bro, this is a team effort, we are doing our best.
Excellent professionnel.
Espérons qu'il soit bien payé et ai l'estime de ses supérieurs !!!
Qu'il en tire de la reconnaissance.
Thanks bro
İyi calışmalar
Teşekkürler
Kolay gelsin

Bravo👍🏻👍🏻
Teşekkürler 👍
Show! Show! Parabéns aos mestres torneiros mecânicos!
Thanks
You made a very valid comment, colleague, but since the diameter is large, it is a little difficult to achieve the surface quality. I had to stand on the bench to remove the surface quality and the burrs of the channels, but the piece is securely attached. God forbid anyone should be separated from their family.
Hep böyle bir tezgahta çalışmayı tercih etmişimdir zizlerede kolaylıklar dilerim
Teşekkürler kardeşim 👍
👏👏👏👏👏
👍👍👍
Dangerous job.
There is always danger in this profession, let's call it hard work.
Todos os comentários são bons, mas seu trabalho é excelente
Eu sou da mesma profissão , tbm faço peças grandes de toneladas

Thanks

Bro me bhi apke tarha high skills machinist hu.
Paar india me salary bhot kaam dete he
That's true brother, good luck
My hydraulic press although much larger was 750 ton and completely different design but when I blew the back end off they were able to fix quickly replacing a double row of 1inch socket head cap screws. My helper also saved the day going into a deluge of oil to shut off valve too a 1000 gal. Tank of Pydraul.
It's very good, use it for good earnings.
Çok büyük bir emek var tebrikler
Teşekkürler
The flange must be inside a safety encasing otherwise it's just a matter of time before someone is hurt.
Unfortunately, the flange diameter does not fit into the enclosure, sometimes we push the limits of the machine
Would you mind to wear safety glasses?
of course not
Smoking in the workshop!!!
Why not? There is nothing wrong with that.
I personally do not smoke, but there are many workers who do and it is difficult to prevent this, I do not think it affects our work.
Great job 👏 excellent machinery, what is the brand and the model of the machine ?
Thank you brother, the brand of the lathe is S.M.T.C.L
....Means Sometimes My Tolerances Come within Limits.
Maşallah 🧿 Allah kolaylıklar versin. 🇹🇷🇹🇷😳
Allah razı olsun teşekkürler 🧿🇹🇷🇹🇷
Interest steady rest. I looking for build one. Can you give me a close look .
I don't understand exactly what to look for
,,👌👌👌👌👍👍👍

I wonder how much the costumer could have saved by specking the OD to be as-forged everywhere it isn't a contact fit with something? I've seen a number of videos of people spending a lot of machine time (e.g. 5-axis contour milling with a 5mm ball mill) getting very great results on what is, in the end, cosmetic finish work because that's what the costumer ordered.
The aim is not to save money but to make it better quality and more durable. Thank you for liking the video
Absolutely 🇺🇸 MACHINIST FOR TRUMP 🇺🇸 WWG1WGA 🇺🇸
Where did this come from now?🤣🤣🇹🇷🇹🇷
Nice job. Get some safety glasses. They are very cheap. Try replacing an eye! Should be teaching your staff good safety habits.
Thank you bro, of course there are safety glasses.
Great job,hallo from holland.
Thank you brother, greetings from Türkiye
Good work but not wearing safety glasses blowing chips. That's a no no.
Thank you brother, we are doing our best, I wear safety glasses when necessary, thank you for your warning.
@@MyLatheWorld WE WEAR SUNGLASSES IN INDIA
You should still wear work glasses while working.
Apparently not a problem in turkey along with no hearing protection
You only need glasses when safety shows up
Would have liked to see how they trued the boring head to the cylinder.
I tried to capture all the stages as much as I could, sir.
@@MyLatheWorld TY I watched all the way to the end90% of my questions were answered by your video. It was well done. Did it take 3 days to do all that machining
@@geoffreykail9129 Since the barrel is forged steel, the pre-treatment took a long time. I bought 60 mm in it. The process lasted 3 days ago. I machined the flange for 1 day. Welded for 1 day. Cooled for 1 day. I opened the channels in 2 days and processed the harvest.

Don't you have dial indicators to help you set up the cylinder?
There are clocks, I use them when necessary, I reset them with the clock, I don't use the clock in rough places.
it is a forged piece of steel more or less in a round shape... ( you can see the segments left by the forging) if you want to destroy your dial indicator.... 8-)
how much cool down time between ops?
Just my brother, without waiting for the cooling period of the resource for 1 day
@@MyLatheWorld good video. from a small lathe worker. same methods and skills but not as large
@@levitated-pit thank you, we do our best
looking at that chetta pipe reminds me of when i was a apprentice and my chuck wrench broke and i feel back into the work bench and busted my tail bone, ya had to sit on a inflatable ring for 3 months , dont be the next victim
Get well soon, brother. I hope you will never encounter anything like this again. We are doing our best to avoid such a thing. We are trying to be careful.
Çok yüksək texnoloji.
Teşekkürler kardeşim

Time is very valuable for us, we are trying to produce as quickly as possible
3:42 showing the kid how to do a better job with the strap. Good on y'all, that's how we keep things working.
Thanks bro
Is that cylinder a forging ?
yes custom made forged steel
what's a self throat
This self-throated hive
@@MyLatheWorld I don't get it
В какой cam системой делалась УП?
Unfortunately I couldn't understand your question
Safety glasses big boy rule number one 1 lol, hope you don’t learn the hard way!
👍👍
Ab dem 28. Juni erreicht unser Wetter sogar den fernen Osten! 😂😂😂Ihr seid Wetterkomiker...
Do you think we are comedians?
Para mecanizar el interior yo le hubiera torneado en giro inverso para que apoye bien contra la luneta
In manufacturing, the processing method varies depending on the operator, I do whatever is easier for me, I look at how I can do the job as quickly as possible without any errors.
How much was it worth 🤔
What is it worth you ask?
@hydraulicfactory how much does it cost
I don't know the exact cost of the cylinder
Какая же ЗП у этих ребят
Why do you wonder, do you think it is important?🙂
Why do you wonder, do you think it is important?🙂
Обязательное условие для принятия на работу - курить везде,где только можно 😅
I personally do not smoke but there is nothing to do since the rate of smokers is very high.
Safety glasses bro, literally no reason not to wear them. Does someone come around cleaning up the swarf all the time, the open back style of the lathe always created a mess you can't see with components this size.
Yes, you are right in general, but the order here works like this for now. When there are jobs with a lot of sawdust, the children take the sawdust so that they do not have difficulty.
1000kg ?
When you say 1000 kg
Esses pessoal não usa óculos de segurança não.
👍👍
OMG, this is bog boy stuff
Isn't it too much of an exaggeration?
Interesting kind of boring bar...
I don't understand what you find boring
@@MyLatheWorld the tool is called boring bar
There's nothing boring about that boreing bar.
I respect everyone's opinion, this is entirely your opinion, thank you.
Slow process.
It's interesting, how many stages did it go through, the sawdust of the world was scraped off, I think it's a normal and good process.
Where is his safety glasses-? , probably no hearing protection and no safety shoes either.
I wear all of them when necessary, I usually always use work shoes unless something happens to them.
👋👋👍🤏❤❤
👍👍👍🤲
So you believe in child labor.
I don't understand what you mean by child labor.

Stop telling these grown men what safety items to wear. They will wear what they want, and you feel free to do the same.

Horrible prep... Horrible audio...
No sense of machining or safety. 🤦🏻♂️
Of course, this is your opinion, I don't respect it, but it is not normal for you to ignore the workmanship and effort here. I guess you don't understand business.
