Israel ended their occupation of Gaza in 2005. Hamas fought a civil war over the fact they wanted to continue fighting Israel. This is all literally their fault. Israel spent 10 years avoiding war and 5 years playing defense.
Also we seen videos of Hamas literally binding kids down at a rocket launch site so if Israel fires at the source of rockets, the kids will get injured and Al Jazeera points to Israel. This is their modus operandi.
