Cheap and Easy Vise Handle Replacement

- I didn't want to attempt to repair the bent handle on this quality vise. Instead, I made one bigger and better than you can buy; ohh and cheaper too.

Keep an eye out at swap meets, flea markets, etc; Somebody is always selling misc. tools for a buck a piece. It may be rusty but that's why they invented sandpaper.

I just used a 10 inch 3/4 drive extension I didn't need, with an old socket JB Welded on the end. Yours looks nicer, but mine was cheaper and easier to do,
I've got a busted MAC breaker bar out back, and have been looking for ideas on a replacement handle for a 6" el cheapo vise I picked from the trash a few years back. I've got a plethora of vises, so no hurry to fix it. I recently bought a post vise and was planning on adding a second vise to the stand I made for it. Still up in the air as to if it will be a bench vise or a pipe vise. I'm favoring the 6" vise, as it's huge and I can beat on and destroy it without much loss, as I saved it from the trash.

I have a similar model and the handle rotates 90 each way, handy to use like a chopsaw,
