I just pulled my first one in July.. went about how well mine did. I see you left the torque converter on. Mine was seized so I could not spin the flex plate to get the TC disconnected.
Remember the humvee was designed and built by the same company that designed the postal truck, ( with military specs). I have a funny feeling that this vehicle did not come out anything like the original design. My guess is the motor was put in before the body went on. I hope your not going to try and put that motor back in again.
We welded up a 2' extension to my shop's cherry picker to get my 6.5 out. Remember, lawyers create those load capacities... not engineers :)
