So glad I could help get the motor out of the way for that body mount bolt. Way easier than trying to reach it with the motor in. Also 17:47 a box end wouldn't have fallen off haha! Keep up the good work, I'll try to be there for the next one.
liked the video. only question the hook and bar parts are for the fuel tank. The fuel tank is scalloped around the rear drive shaft and attached to the body. When you lift the body the drive shaft is no longer centered in the scallop and may rub on the tank shield especially if a balance weight on the shaft is on the forward half. The hook and bars extend the tank straps and the solid 2x2 poly blocks go on top of the tank. With every lift i have done so far that is the hardest part if it doesn't center in the scallop. I have had to modify a couple times and for me its under an hour excepting the fuel tank to install the lift . Also transmission linkage may need adjustment some kits come with extensions but i have seen many not use unless needed
My guess is it's a 6.5 td from another HMMWV. Which would make the best financial sense since you could just drop it in. I have a 6.5 td in my M1165 and its bullet proof.

Thank you for your help. I’ll be shooting another video this weekend…?
FYI "Not as tight as I expected" - every man's first thought when between the sheets.
Also when using a 24" breaker bar :P
😂 the only reason I keep posting videos is to see what you are going to comment
@@theOKHumvee Dang. No pressure! :P
Congratulations on the motor. Can't wait to see if. Your doing great man.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
That ending though… 👀
More to come!
“It’s cheaper than buying another part that will just sit in the garage…”
One of us.

Great vid! Cracking up😂
Thanks for watching!

Creed: "Can you take me highahhh??"
Andrew: "Yup, about 2-3" or so"
lol what a missed opportunity.

Stay tuned to find out!

Your garage looks too fresh, mines hot as hell 😅
Haha mines usually pretty hot. Until winter. Then it’s freezing. I need to figure out some garage door insulation.
