So I'm using the DJI RC to fly my older DJI Air 2S drone. No problems. In past years, I used a DJI Smart Controller. That controller's 'screen record' function worked fine during my Air 2S flights. And, the Smart Controller produced a nice, 1280x720 video file. In my pocket was a Zoom H1n recorder. I ran a Sony lavaliere mic from my collar to the H1n recorder. I recorded my narration audio and synched it up in post. I plan to order the Google USB-C to 3.5mm adapter as you suggested, for the DJI RC. With that adapter, I hope to continue doing real-time in-flight narrations, using the 'Host' USB-C connection on the back of the DJI RC controller, as you described. This current version means I will have one long screen recording, then having to instead of just using my iPhone I have to pull out a video editor like premiere, splice out the audio which is one clip and then have to sync it in time with several videos with no sound and try to hope and pray it won’t take a Ridic long time to do so. Right? It’s an overwhelming amount of work instead of just having a clean video feed being recorded with audio on the remote? Am I Crazy? I usually think I’m the odd one out pointing just how frustrating dji has made this and how simply it could be fixed!!!!
@@Schontaylor that’s how it works I’m afraid. There’s no work around for removing the telemetry other than my original suggestion. Besides the quality of the screen recording is at 720p as opposed to 4K from the drone.
Mini usb c mic are very cheap
They are indeed. 👍
🤟🏼🤝
Thanks 🙏
Doesn't make sense. Why not just get the trs to usc ?
@@endliberalism4305 at the time of recording this was the only way to get it to work 👍
Get the wireless one instead. Better quality audio.
The rode is wireless.
