Really liked this collab! We need more high school homeschooling moms out there!
I’ve never heard of Guest Hollow except from you, and thus absolutely makes me want to try it!!!
The Thrive Curriculum sounds intriguing!😊
I imagine it would be difficult to find homeschooling curriculum that works well for your specific needs. Reviews like this, I'm sure, is invaluable to many home school families in helping them find the right curriculum. Guest Hollow looks like it would work great for many families.
Looks like a lot of great curriculum - definitely need to save this for when we get to high school several years down the road 😅
This was great. Makes me want to try 7 sisters. And makes me want to try guest hollow even more.
Guest Hollow does look like a lot. I haven't worked up the courage to try it ( even though it looks like a beautiful program! )
thank you so much. we will be doing chemistry in the kitchen with my 10th grader in the fall and i'm nervous.
There is a four week intro that is included in Chemistry in the Kitchen. It prepared my son well. 🌻
I would be interested to see how you tweak Guest Hollow's Gov., Econ., and Fin. and what you decide to include for your rising 8th grader. I'm planning to do that with my rising 8th grader as well. As I was flipping through the curriculum last week I realized there will be some challenges with the course load, plus the subject matter that I will have to navigate through in my selection of what he does. I would like to do it as a family subject with my high schooler, and I'm not quite sure how it will look yet. I've considered taking 2 years to allow my mature 8th grader time to mature even more as we work through the course, but I'd love to see how another family navigates a similar challenge with Guest Hollow's Gov., Econ., and Fin. TIA. 🙂
I hear you. I should have that video up within the next two weeks but the goal is next week.🙂 Stay Tuned. 🌻
Thanks for sharing these CJ! I love videos about high school
Cool! There's More to Come🌻
If you had to pick just one subject/area with Guest Hollow, which would you choose?
Tough to do but I’d choose Geography & Cultures. We learned sooo much & it was fun. They now have it as a family style option. 🌻
Is the Seven Sisters only for high school?
Hi. There are literature guides etc. on the site for younger grades. They are known for their high school items primarily. 🌻
