@@AnnaBruceblogI would LOVE to see this too!
@brittanifell3282 coming soon!
For unit studies I made a list of unit studies I found and my 4th and 6th grader take turns picking a unit for us to do as a family! I always try go for units that take 2-4weeks to complete but sometimes if the unit is longer I may count it as 2 turns for that child!!! By doing it like this my children are way more interested, pay more attention and they get to learn a lot about their interests!!!
That’s an awesome idea! I love it!
Last year I taught a LEGOS class at our co-op! The kids loved it. We worked out of the LEGO Bible, so we did things like Noah’s Ark, Tower of Babel, David and Goliath.. etc. the kid’s are SO CREATIVE it blew me away! They will have so much fun!
Wow! Such a great idea! I’m sending this to the teacher!
Which one did you use and where did you get it from?
That's so cool! My kids are also taking a Legos class in homeschool co-op this coming fall.
How cool!
The Children’s Bool of Virtues was one of my kindergartner’s 3 favorite books I read to her this year.
Aw yay! I hope we love it too!
We’re doing the mission studies at our co-op this year 💕 We decided to order the books for younger readers for the classes, but I’m sure families will read the other longer versions at home 👍🏻 We’ve used apologia for the last few years and I really like it! My daughter uses it at Cc and the audible versions and lab books were helpful too.
That’s such a great idea! Love that!
Sounds like a great year!
Thanks so much!
Since you mentioned thriftbooks, I've used them for years. And I just found out you can sign up as a teacher, there's a homeschool option, and get a book free everytime you buy 4 books.
I’ve heard that! I need to do that!
I purchased the same Apologia General Earth Science book as well this year. I plan on doing it once a week and taking roughly two weeks per lesson.
That’s a great plan!
Would love to hear more about FORM
Yesss! We are loving it! I’ll share more about it soon
I know you mentioned that your oldest will be taking Spanish in your co-op. Do you know of a good Spanish curriculum? Or maybe a TH-cam channel where they can watch videos to learn? I bought a Spanish curriculum book last year to try and teach them the basics…but I am super lost so just curious if you have any recommendations for this.
I’m one of the Spanish teachers at our co-op and I love the books “teach them Spanish”. You can find on Amazon and sometimes thriftbooks too
Thanks!!
