Thank you. Glad I watch the entire video. Thought I ruined my fitbit wanting to just replaced the scratched screen. The orange part came out and stopped working. I saw what you did at the end, placing it back into the grove. Now its perfect with a new screen.
Brilliant. Many thanks.. Had to purchase a £200 microscope to see the bits but fixed it. ..............Just Kiddin. Saved me the price of a new Fitbit.
Watched to see how to attach cable back into slot before attaching new screen. After peeling off little black tape, I pushed cable tab back in without reattaching tape. Hope it stays put. After replacing the face with a new one, I was pretty certain I wrecked my watch because the screen was first mirror reversed with strange text up left side. So relieved when everything changed back to normal again. Only video out there to help with cable tab. Wish your demonstration had not been off bottom of screen at end though. Thanks.
Thanks for making clearer how to put screen ribbon connector back and also remove black tape before so to make easier and clearer, when unclipping with black tape on i you can’t see if the screen connector goes under the clip or under the white pad, well done for having camera closer to Fitbit.
Do not heat up the watch!!!!!!!!!...... NOT NEEDED!!!!!..... start on top right corner only with thin knife and only work on right button side to remove screen. HEAT GUN NOT NEEDED!!!!!!!
You don't need to heat the charge 2 screen to remove it th-cam.com/video/mkytIuXAMvA/w-d-xo.html theres a very thin line of glue around the top which peels off when you pull the screen up anyway.

I got a frozen screen. Tried many methods cannot unfreezed the screen. Will remove the battery and put back reset the screen.

The led is stuck to the cover. Help! I hope I didn't ruin it!! What do I do?
The very same thing happened when I followed the tutorial and now the led is not responding at all
