For me, it's the quietness of the Xbox Series X that is genuinely impressive. I play in a very quiet room so I can normally hear even the slightest fan rev up or electronic buzzing - but the XSX is truly silent unless I put my ear to it. It's an impressive feat of engineering - and one I really do appreciate!
"I literally don't know what the fans sound like". Ahaha this one made me laugh out loud as I just had the same thought after a few hours of gaming on my Series X last night. Don't know how they did it, but the console is legit SILENT.
What about playing red dead redemption 2? I have the Xbox one x and only a few games make the fans actually spin fast I think it’s far cry 5 the division 2 rdr2 just cause 4 hitman 2 Pretty much everything that’s enhanced because its actually fully using the console
I have the Xbox Serious X too and it's such a luxury console, once games like Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Elder Scrolls 6, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Fallout 5 and Indiana Jones come out this system is truly going to shine

And the bonus of a 4K Bluray player. I haven't been online for a few years now, doubt if I can remember my Xbox login. Oh well. Looking forward to using this.

Depends on what you play. Me personally would stick with PS5 because you can play all your PS4 games on it even PS4 disc. They are also coming out with upgrades from ps4 to 5. If you have a pc then you can play all Xbox games on there so there’s no need for an Xbox tbh.

Yes you should, I jumped into the Xbox train on the 360, and while I didn’t experience the halo franchise until a few months ago thanks to game pass and the master chief collection, those are great games. As for gears, I’ve been a fan ever since the first one, I loved playing those with my brother coop locally and now that we live apart we played through 5 online, very enjoyable games to play with friends
6:20 Ive noticed this too. I think it has something to do with how Xbox has always been a much more serious multiplayer focused console. PS has always focused more on single player experiences. Gears and Halo are a perfect example. Both games have pretty huge skill gaps and both have cultivated huge followings that have gotten used to very difficult multiplayer over years and years of play. My guess is over time once these communities branched out into other games, the brought with them there competitive edge. I could be wrong but i dont think there has been a PS exclusive thats done the same.
A bunch of Bethesda games have just been added to gamepass, it's a brilliant service. Sony really need to add something akin to gamepass. At the moment it's a no brainer to use XSX as your main console due to gamepass. I'll be using the PS5 as an offline console for exclusives. Shooter games have always been more difficult on Xbox, competitive eSports console gaming originated on Xbox with the old halo games. "Nice Xbox."

I’ve had my Elite Series 2 controller for about 4 months now, and I can’t imagine going back to normal controllers. The built-in battery and the rubber grips along the sides, joysticks, and triggers are extremely useful. It is a bit expensive at about $180 USD but I definitely recommend it to you
I've had mins since launch as well. I love it. Fast, silent, and quick resume is a real game changer. I have nothing but praise. It's cool playing a game where I'm used to 50 second load times and with this beast that is down to 3 seconds.
I spent up for the expansion card and it is definitely nice, seamless integration with the internal SSD. The price is high but actually the exact same compared to other Gen 4 PCIe drives. Also nice Xbox 😎
I wouldn't say that considering many 2tb gen 4 pcie nvme's are 3 times faster than the 1tb Xbox memory card, but only cost $200 more. 🤷 Microsoft realy should have built in an expansion bay for non memory card nvme drives like Sony has. A 2tb version of the Xbox memory card will cost $700 outside of the USA yet it will still be 3 times slower than the ps5 speeds.

I managed to bag a series x with 24 months of game pass altimate on all access. I'm so excited, I currently play on the base xbox, I can't wait to see the difference between the two.
Ever since the next-gen consoles were revealed, I was always aiming to save up for a PS5, but over the past month, I’ve been more enticed in getting a Series S or X and the sole reason is because of Game Pass. The only thing that’s keeping me from going all into getting one, are the exclusives on the PS5... man.

Love the no wires. I had a similar issue with my controller only once too but I think that was a FH4 bug rather than the Xbox. I also think people will struggle to realise that a full shutdown is different to the shut down in the controller menu so a lot of "turn it off and on again" fixes will leave people thinking something is broken.
As a ps4 owner I can't imagine getting a series x over ps5 and missing out on all the exclusives like Horizon,Ratchet and Spiderman Sony just makes great games that are must plays
I’ve had mine since about two weeks after launch. Going from the original launch Xbox one to the series x is a massive upgrade and I love mine so far. But yes, the only issue I have with the console is that sometimes the controllers completely lose connection to the console. This happens when I have the console on during a game and I switch out my chargeable batteries. Other than that, I love it so much. Looking forward to the future with this generation!
When my controller loses the connection, I just pop a battery for 1 sec, put back in, turn on, good to go. Though just like you it only happens if I let the controller go into sleep mode
They finally added the one feature I was asking for, filter the store by pricing. I get lots of random gift cards and searching through games that are above my budget is so annoying. It’s a shame I’ve only just found out they added it because I had some money in my account not so long ago.
I’d love a video of mouse and keyboard functionality between both consoles, like in warzone, to really see if there’s a difference, bugs etc. Is that possible?

Today 3/19 after another failure of trying to get a PS5 as Best Buy had more inventory. I decided testing my luck towards a Xbox Series X for the first time as restock started shortly after the PS5 sold out. AND I GOT ONE!!! I am so excited especially it being my first attempt towards a XsX, I CANT WAIT TO GET IT!!!!

I have both and I must say the series x even while playing games disc wise is the same also barely gets hot at all I had mine since day 1 I kept it on all day for 3 weeks straight haven’t got hot or made any weird noise and with the quick resume you can actually unplug your console turn it completely off and turn it back on whatever you left off at it’ll quick resume. The ps5 do be really loud when playing games but hasn’t been hot either so far so good
The guys are right, I have played hours and hours of Demon's Souls and God of War and the only thing I've ever heard is the disk spinning when starting the game

I might be in the minority here, but I’m actually glad they’re still using user replaceable batteries in the Xbox controller. You don’t have to worry about the battery losing it’s ability to hold a charge overtime.
Same here, i do not play a lot but i love the idea behind replaceable batteries. I have 4 rechargeable batteries (1900mAh, you can get even better ones) , 2 inside the controller and 2 always ready to replace those when they run out of juice. Get those 2 empty ones, place them into the charger and recharge. So easy. And they last for about a week or two, depends on how much i play. Also, if you dont have spare batteries around, you can always use cable (i used the one i recharge my phone and it worked, just for testing). So easy and i love it, i really dont understand those people who are against the batteries.

I’m impressed with how quiet the Xbox is and how well the console runs. From the first time jumping into the Home Screen you appreciate how crisp the visuals are. I started Lies Of P today and the game runs perfect and the graphics are genuinely insane!
You can do that with an Xbox One X, I assume Series X can as well. Just plug in a usb with images on it I’ve done it. Achievements also often have custom artwork you can set too
@@ayushvispute7857 you can download images from the internet through edge and place them as your background. You can also join Clubs, people uplaod a lot of high quality images of stuff you may like
You got some apps in the store specifically for background pictures. Just search background and try some out. Like another person said you can also put it on a USB drive. Another option is to upload it to dropbox and select it in the app. Achievement art or screen scraptures is another possibility.
One of the best things are the family settings and the way you can use the app on your mobile phone to control the Series x. People should talk more about it.
I've been using the series x daily since launch and I keep having connection issues with controllers, its a problem with the console not the controller
Totally agree with the UI and the backgrounds and tiles, this is the second review I've seen mention this and say the same and I thought I was the only one who may have thought this. I like to use custom backgrounds for my Xbox and when the blocks and squares all load up, it just covers it up way too much. I hope they change this in the future with an update for sure!! ❤️🙏
i hardly knew anyone with an xbox in my area, it was all about PS5 where i’m at. I got an xbox series x partially out of availability. I’ve had it for a few weeks and am stunned that the xbox series x doesn’t get more hype/praise than it does. it’s a phenomenal system. I have ZERO want/need for a playstation, as the xbox fulfills everything i want in a gaming console. i expect great things for this machine in the years to come and am glad to be back on team xbox.
It’s a nice controller but I wouldn’t recommend. All the features on it are amazing but stick drift is a huge issue I’ve run into. Same with back paddles not working with less than a year of use. Also controller will randomly disconnect multiple times while playing. I had the same issues with the series 1 controllers. Instead, save up a bit more money and go with a scuff.
I was a PS fanboy for too long and I just recently got a Series X. Playstation used to be awesome in the PS3 days, PS4 still good but Xbox wins the new gen. If you are a PS fanboy as I was I want you to know that, it's OK to get a Series X and start gaming on Xbox. Definitely the best console to get.

Had mines for 3 months now. I was happy to find out, the rechargeable battery from the Xbox One controller fits perfectly and works in the Series X controller.
NICE XBOX Shame about your issue with the controllers not working after they idle, I often leave my controllers on and come back to an idled console but they seem to connect right away again. Hopefully, this is a known bug and is fixed in a future update. I also highly agree with your views on the menu, dynamic background themes are a thing on Xbox now and MS said they will be bringing more dynamic themes in the future - Maybe use one of those now to get a slightly updated look on your dashboard.
Yes mate, I'm running out of new ideas for original content on the Tesla. Also, not being able to get out and about (weather + lockdown) isn't helping things. I wanted to do a 2019 vs 2021 Video, or another road trip though.
Game Pass should be a must have for an Xbox owner in my opinion, the value for my is incredible. I’ve only setup my new Xbox Series X today and having that big library to choose from is brilliant. Really enjoyable video, even if I’m a little late to the party. 🙂

Get a series s for now and then a ps5 when there are exclusives. Unless you only play games like cod,apex,etc. Then xbox is the better option
@infected that’s the best pass. PS service gives you only 1AAA title free every month whereas you get to play most of the games on game pass. Lovely 😊

Ever since the next-gen consoles were revealed, I was always aiming to save up for a PS5, but over the past month, I’ve been more enticed in getting a Series S or X and the sole reason is because of Game Pass. The only thing that’s keeping me from going all into getting one, are the exclusives on the PS5... man.

Love the no wires. I had a similar issue with my controller only once too but I think that was a FH4 bug rather than the Xbox. I also think people will struggle to realise that a full shutdown is different to the shut down in the controller menu so a lot of "turn it off and on again" fixes will leave people thinking something is broken.
I really enjoy my Series X but due to work and stuff I've literally only switched it on once this year! Need to start making some time for it.

As a ps4 owner I can't imagine getting a series x over ps5 and missing out on all the exclusives like Horizon,Ratchet and Spiderman Sony just makes great games that are must plays

I’ve had mine since about two weeks after launch. Going from the original launch Xbox one to the series x is a massive upgrade and I love mine so far. But yes, the only issue I have with the console is that sometimes the controllers completely lose connection to the console. This happens when I have the console on during a game and I switch out my chargeable batteries. Other than that, I love it so much. Looking forward to the future with this generation!
When my controller loses the connection, I just pop a battery for 1 sec, put back in, turn on, good to go. Though just like you it only happens if I let the controller go into sleep mode
I can confirm it fixes the issue

They finally added the one feature I was asking for, filter the store by pricing. I get lots of random gift cards and searching through games that are above my budget is so annoying. It’s a shame I’ve only just found out they added it because I had some money in my account not so long ago.

Today 3/19 after another failure of trying to get a PS5 as Best Buy had more inventory. I decided testing my luck towards a Xbox Series X for the first time as restock started shortly after the PS5 sold out. AND I GOT ONE!!! I am so excited especially it being my first attempt towards a XsX, I CANT WAIT TO GET IT!!!!

I’ve been tempted to pick up the new Xbox but at a later date. The only game that interests me at the moment is a game called ‘Medium’ which I believe is on Xbox game pass. I’ve been looking more towards the digital version of the console and the disk version of the Playstation 5.
I’m all for an overview of the headphones. I use Astro A40 headphones myself and interested to see how the new Xbox headsets perform. 🙌
Oh nice! The A40s will be hard to beat (I had the A50s). So everything I've had since have a lot to live up to haha. But I'll give them a go.

I have both and I must say the series x even while playing games disc wise is the same also barely gets hot at all I had mine since day 1 I kept it on all day for 3 weeks straight haven’t got hot or made any weird noise and with the quick resume you can actually unplug your console turn it completely off and turn it back on whatever you left off at it’ll quick resume. The ps5 do be really loud when playing games but hasn’t been hot either so far so good
My PS5 is silent when playing games. Like, I can't hear the fan unless I put my ear against it lol. Your PS5 might be broken...

The guys are right, I have played hours and hours of Demon's Souls and God of War and the only thing I've ever heard is the disk spinning when starting the game

Depending on the game and your computer you can run multiple games at once, so could flip between them almost instantly if you wanted.
For the disconnection on the controller Microsoft came out with a patch on a update to fix that
I might be in the minority here, but I’m actually glad they’re still using user replaceable batteries in the Xbox controller. You don’t have to worry about the battery losing it’s ability to hold a charge overtime.
Same here, i do not play a lot but i love the idea behind replaceable batteries. I have 4 rechargeable batteries (1900mAh, you can get even better ones) , 2 inside the controller and 2 always ready to replace those when they run out of juice. Get those 2 empty ones, place them into the charger and recharge. So easy. And they last for about a week or two, depends on how much i play. Also, if you dont have spare batteries around, you can always use cable (i used the one i recharge my phone and it worked, just for testing). So easy and i love it, i really dont understand those people who are against the batteries.

I’m impressed with how quiet the Xbox is and how well the console runs. From the first time jumping into the Home Screen you appreciate how crisp the visuals are. I started Lies Of P today and the game runs perfect and the graphics are genuinely insane!
You can change the background to some abstract designs. I wish we could set pictures from gallery or something as background
You can do that with an Xbox One X, I assume Series X can as well. Just plug in a usb with images on it I’ve done it. Achievements also often have custom artwork you can set too

@@ayushvispute7857 you can download images from the internet through edge and place them as your background. You can also join Clubs, people uplaod a lot of high quality images of stuff you may like
You got some apps in the store specifically for background pictures. Just search background and try some out. Like another person said you can also put it on a USB drive. Another option is to upload it to dropbox and select it in the app. Achievement art or screen scraptures is another possibility.

One of the best things are the family settings and the way you can use the app on your mobile phone to control the Series x. People should talk more about it.

Totally agree with the UI and the backgrounds and tiles, this is the second review I've seen mention this and say the same and I thought I was the only one who may have thought this. I like to use custom backgrounds for my Xbox and when the blocks and squares all load up, it just covers it up way too much. I hope they change this in the future with an update for sure!! ❤️🙏

i hardly knew anyone with an xbox in my area, it was all about PS5 where i’m at. I got an xbox series x partially out of availability. I’ve had it for a few weeks and am stunned that the xbox series x doesn’t get more hype/praise than it does. it’s a phenomenal system. I have ZERO want/need for a playstation, as the xbox fulfills everything i want in a gaming console. i expect great things for this machine in the years to come and am glad to be back on team xbox.

The series 2 elite controller is the 1st thing 2 get
It’s a nice controller but I wouldn’t recommend. All the features on it are amazing but stick drift is a huge issue I’ve run into. Same with back paddles not working with less than a year of use. Also controller will randomly disconnect multiple times while playing. I had the same issues with the series 1 controllers. Instead, save up a bit more money and go with a scuff.

I was a PS fanboy for too long and I just recently got a Series X. Playstation used to be awesome in the PS3 days, PS4 still good but Xbox wins the new gen. If you are a PS fanboy as I was I want you to know that, it's OK to get a Series X and start gaming on Xbox. Definitely the best console to get.

Had mines for 3 months now. I was happy to find out, the rechargeable battery from the Xbox One controller fits perfectly and works in the Series X controller.

Shame about your issue with the controllers not working after they idle, I often leave my controllers on and come back to an idled console but they seem to connect right away again. Hopefully, this is a known bug and is fixed in a future update. I also highly agree with your views on the menu, dynamic background themes are a thing on Xbox now and MS said they will be bringing more dynamic themes in the future - Maybe use one of those now to get a slightly updated look on your dashboard.

For anyone wondering, the disc drive can be quite noisy. If you have your TV volume on it’s not too noticeable though.
