I'm in corrections (another huge PTSD giver) and you HAVE to keep it light. Working on 2 different shifts, you can really tell the difference. My last shift, the tension was palpable. I actually had a Cpl. ask me if it was always that negative. I was to the point where after a bad night, I wouldn't even want to leave my truck going home. To make matters worse, the inmates responded to it, and it made it even more stressful. This new shift, we all bring food, no ones yelling at each other, the inmates aren't trying to kill themselves/others, fights are down, and we laugh a lot. Even with the inmates. It still gets dark, but it's night and day.

I spent a week down in TX with Nicky as my instructor. His sarcasm is at legendary status. He told some of the most ridiculous stories but always maintained a dead pan delivery. If he told a borderline ridiculous story you had no idea if it was true or not. Great guy to hang out with and a fantastic instructor.

I think being chill is one of the essential qualities of the sniper. You need patience and you need precision. And then more patience. Actually a lot of patience. And nerves of steel. I remember a comic, it showed two snipers on the different sides, both had boring/chilled looks on their faces, and the comic showed their thoughts about different peaceful stuff while they were waiting looking through their scopes. And then one of them took a shot because there was an opportunity, and hit the other.
Scott uses lighter loads when shooting his 500 mag a couple hundred less grains onvpowder makes a world of difference . Scott can attest to this being a factor. When the slap round he shot dang near killed him when it blew up his 50 cal. it was due to the load being larger and creating more pressure than the gun was capable of containing. Same goes for firing the 500 mag with a load with less power, it causes less shock to the shooter. If I'm not mistaken the load feeds Matt uses are 700 gr. Compared to the 500 gr loads Scott was seen shooting from his 500mag. Still the 500 mag. is one beast of a handgun.

Whats really awesome about the intro is that the guy that he is referencing (tyler durden from fight club) is basically the main guy's 'ideal version of himself'. As in Tyler is in all aspects how the main character would like to be, if he could choose freely. So basically, in this intro, Matt is saying that Nick is the ultimate man in Matts eyes, and if he could choose, he would be exactly like him. Thats some mad respect for the reaper right there.

Epic movie mode was fantastic today. The reaper with his hands on your hips and the big smile at the camera, priceless entertainment. Had me laughing out loud.
I can't say that I've been watching since your first video, but it has easily been over 8 yrs. In that time I have never felt the urge or desire to comment on your content. I just enjoyed and minded my own. However... watching the epic edit today has easily been the best thing I have ever watched( on this channel) and wanted to say thank you to both of you gentlemen.
Is that nick? Yooo. He got dreds now? We did a sp ops together. 3 of us. We bussed out laughing because we was all blk and had to jump wit a wing suit over water. Luckily we landed at the top of a cliff waterfall thing. Cut the chutes and 10 sec later we hear silencers and a drumline of bullets hitting rocks near us so we jumped off the waterfall with no chute, and nick yelled. Curve. Glide over the water. Glide over the waterrrrrrr. Heyyyy. Theres the box. As we free fall toward the water we see our box landing with our weapons. Nick landed on the box and we skipped across the water. Within 2 minutes we knew who was who becuse nick was sniping in the dark. I ran up about 40 feet on a tree and grappled another 20 and threw a reflector across the water to the side we were opposite. About 40 gunners stood at the top of the waterfall shooting at the reflector i threw and we had to get at least 35 of the 40. In less than 15 seconds. Definitely 1 clip. Long story short we ended up securing what we estimated almost 800 million in cash sitting in the woods. Dont kno where it went to. Or why we were there. We just couldnt believe how much money we saw just sitting. Cant say when or where but that looks like nick. Hopefully he read this. We ran into a lady who gave us old cheap lookin ar 15 looking replicas because we were low. Glad we didnt have to use them. That was a fun job. Showed how crazy the world is and how they use us the same way u see tom cruise in movies.
It's 100% possible that I have overlooked it and it exists......but Nick should definitely start a podcast. He's just a funny guy and we all know he has a lot of stories that he could tell....plus all the guys he served with could come on as well.....I got SUPER excited the second that I saw he Nick was back on the channel. The soap acts as lubricant for the bullets but also it liquifies in heat and has a weak crystal structure like wax. In essence it helps the bullet go through, breaks apart and melts. When you think about it no surprise the bullet goes through the soap.

i love that reaper is an extremely deadly individual who had an extremely serious job but still jokes around and acts goofy and looks to be having a great time doing these things. just makes it extra entertaining knowing the seriousness this man can bring when needed but is having a great time shooting blocks of soap of all things, while riding on demos shoulders lol

I'm in corrections (another huge PTSD giver) and you HAVE to keep it light. Working on 2 different shifts, you can really tell the difference. My last shift, the tension was palpable. I actually had a Cpl. ask me if it was always that negative. I was to the point where after a bad night, I wouldn't even want to leave my truck going home. To make matters worse, the inmates responded to it, and it made it even more stressful.
This new shift, we all bring food, no ones yelling at each other, the inmates aren't trying to kill themselves/others, fights are down, and we laugh a lot. Even with the inmates. It still gets dark, but it's night and day.

I spent a week down in TX with Nicky as my instructor. His sarcasm is at legendary status. He told some of the most ridiculous stories but always maintained a dead pan delivery. If he told a borderline ridiculous story you had no idea if it was true or not. Great guy to hang out with and a fantastic instructor.

I think being chill is one of the essential qualities of the sniper. You need patience and you need precision. And then more patience. Actually a lot of patience. And nerves of steel.
I remember a comic, it showed two snipers on the different sides, both had boring/chilled looks on their faces, and the comic showed their thoughts about different peaceful stuff while they were waiting looking through their scopes.
And then one of them took a shot because there was an opportunity, and hit the other.

Scott uses lighter loads when shooting his 500 mag a couple hundred less grains onvpowder makes a world of difference . Scott can attest to this being a factor. When the slap round he shot dang near killed him when it blew up his 50 cal. it was due to the load being larger and creating more pressure than the gun was capable of containing. Same goes for firing the 500 mag with a load with less power, it causes less shock to the shooter. If I'm not mistaken the load feeds Matt uses are 700 gr. Compared to the 500 gr loads Scott was seen shooting from his 500mag. Still the 500 mag. is one beast of a handgun.

Whats really awesome about the intro is that the guy that he is referencing (tyler durden from fight club) is basically the main guy's 'ideal version of himself'. As in Tyler is in all aspects how the main character would like to be, if he could choose freely.

I can't say that I've been watching since your first video, but it has easily been over 8 yrs. In that time I have never felt the urge or desire to comment on your content. I just enjoyed and minded my own. However... watching the epic edit today has easily been the best thing I have ever watched( on this channel) and wanted to say thank you to both of you gentlemen.

Is that nick? Yooo. He got dreds now? We did a sp ops together. 3 of us. We bussed out laughing because we was all blk and had to jump wit a wing suit over water. Luckily we landed at the top of a cliff waterfall thing. Cut the chutes and 10 sec later we hear silencers and a drumline of bullets hitting rocks near us so we jumped off the waterfall with no chute, and nick yelled. Curve. Glide over the water. Glide over the waterrrrrrr. Heyyyy. Theres the box. As we free fall toward the water we see our box landing with our weapons. Nick landed on the box and we skipped across the water. Within 2 minutes we knew who was who becuse nick was sniping in the dark. I ran up about 40 feet on a tree and grappled another 20 and threw a reflector across the water to the side we were opposite. About 40 gunners stood at the top of the waterfall shooting at the reflector i threw and we had to get at least 35 of the 40. In less than 15 seconds. Definitely 1 clip. Long story short we ended up securing what we estimated almost 800 million in cash sitting in the woods. Dont kno where it went to. Or why we were there. We just couldnt believe how much money we saw just sitting. Cant say when or where but that looks like nick. Hopefully he read this. We ran into a lady who gave us old cheap lookin ar 15 looking replicas because we were low. Glad we didnt have to use them. That was a fun job. Showed how crazy the world is and how they use us the same way u see tom cruise in movies.

He's just a funny guy and we all know he has a lot of stories that he could tell....plus all the guys he served with could come on as well.....I got SUPER excited the second that I saw he Nick was back on the channel.
