The Gc8 is the best looking subaru imo.

And the GF8. Only the turbo models though. There's a few N/A ones floating around where I live and they just don't look right.

And I agree with Hammond, the bugeye is a sleeper looking car even when stock can surprise you, I know because I've had mine for 7 years now still love it.

The 22B is my pick. The look is so much more sporty and mean. Even the 2014 WRX isn't as good lookin' as the 98' 22B! (But it is in terms of performance.)

I made a mistake by selling my Sti 04..
But the 4 Years, I hve started missing it and fortunately, I managed to get another Sti JDM..

Just get one, then you can always hear it with or without your own music.
GC8 classic impreza is by far the best. If they kept making it for another decade, it would still sell in numbers.
The impreza classic will always be my fav.

I own an '01 WRX and I'm very satisfied with it, yes I'd prefer the old '98 model myself sometimes, but sometimes we have to settle on second best!

I own a gf8 and I think the gc8/gf8 generation is the best looking subaru. I used to hate how the bug eye looked. but it starts to grow on you. and now I see it more as cute, than hideous.

I love my 2011 WRX hatchback, but I'd give it away in a heart beat for a 22b. absolutely the buisness!
Not only is the white one the better performer (according to Hammond) it is IMO much better looking.

I much prefer the older 2000 Subaru Impreza WRX to the newer 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX. The older 1990’s Subaru Impreza look just as good as JDM style Honda Integras.

It's not that the bug eye is ugly but the extra 200kg of weight is what puts me off it. I like the rear of the bug eye/hawkeye and the front of the gc8 the most. The gc8 looks closest to my dream car the r32 gtr though so I'm biased.

For me GC8 and Bugeye are the best Subarus
I'll take the turbo gt over the WRX any day. Looks way better and it's 200kg lighter. Building a track car soon using the gt turbo

While you are accounting for inflation, you're accounting for American inflation.
Account for European inflation first, then convert to dollars to get a more accurate representation. I don't feel like putting in the work.

The wrx and the sti has different feature including a 6 speed that you don't get in the first gen sti only the other sti generation who cares it's just a suby

Bug eye is the ugliest generation. Ugly tail lights and the front is meh. Seen so many people swap the tail lights for 04 ones
The bug eye is just a car you have to modify to look nice it doesn't stand alone. For example the s203 version looks dope but the not the regular WRX

Agreed. GC8 > bugeye > hawkeye > blobeye. And the taillights on the bugeye are some of the nicest ones on any GD impreza. Way better looking than the blob and especially the hawkeyes taillights.

Hunter Adams Have a look at the 'WRX' written in large letters across the back of the white one and along the side. Technically the grey one is also a WRX.
what a dumb comparison, one is a 20k wrx and the other is a 60k sti with all different rally 4x4 systems.
The EJ205 and its gearbox are very similar to the EJ207 and its gearbox in the v5 and v6 GC8 stis. With almost identical 4wd viscous centre diff, plated rear lsd and open front diff. Silly comparison in terms of weight and power but very similar cars underneath.
