its a lovely video, and reminds me of when my dad sent me driving off-road in a bo-cart. i rolled it, the engine caught fire and i was stuck in the seat and needed rescueing, haha.
it needed more power to produce a proper skid, and having progressively tried to provoke it, with no success, i eventually sent it as hard as i could, down a hill. no slide, just a roll.
so i think i need another lesson!
and as for EA Sports WRC, as has already been said; No Virtual Reality support - no buy! I'd love to play it, it looks great, but not enough to abandon VR, so I will continue with DiRT Rally 2.0!

Richard’s daughter is a natural not just in her voice overs, but obviously has inherited her dad’s enthusiasm and skills. Plus she has an infectious laugh. Well done guys, this was a lot of fun to watch. 😁👍
Totally! And delivering lines for voice overs is not easy
Cigarettes and cheap whisky does put a certain tone into a person's voice...neither of which I would advise a young lady to entertain, obviously!

One thing that really shows here is that Richard is a very good driver. He plays up the accident prone bit, but you can clearly see the 30+ years of experience as he drives
Very true, many who push themselves do crash more. I bet if you did an honest back to back test between the trio Richard would be far in front.

Out of the three Richard is the best driver. While he has had accidents that is because he is how you say "adventurous". When testing the difficult or fast cars they give them to Hammond. But when it comes to the ones they want in tact they give them to May who is easily the safest
This is so heartwarming. Izzy's confidence grew throughout the day and you can just tell how much Richard is having fun riding along with her. The cut of her saying she could do this all day to Richard having said it earlier must have been such a proud Dad moment.
Fathers absolutely love ❤️ it when their daughters take after them. Much more so than with sons cos with sons it’s expected. With daughters it shows far greater maturity & bonding & means that daughters are far more likely to come under your wing & therefore be a lot more mature & successful in life, including the very real & important matter of relationships. The absolute last thing a father wants is for his daughter to marry a Wally. Believe me, I’m of that exact mindset.
This has to make Richard so happy as a dad. Just getting these moments with his daughter has to feel so special.

I disagree. Passion isn't something you can 'pass on'. She has to develop that herself. All he can do is give her a means to follow it if she has it.

These 2 really do have the most fantastic Dad and Daughter dynamic. Izzy is an absolute natural presenter. More of these please, great fun to watch.

Just loving Izzy's ability to talk to camera just like her verbose dad! Let's hope she hasn't inherited Richard's crash statistics :). I think she and Richard are a fantastic duo, and you can see the pride in Richard's eyes as he watches her rallying like a champ. Can't get enough of them together!!
This made me emotional, watching top gear all my life and now watching hamster's daughter driving and doing the voiceover, It's brilliant. Well done.

It’s so fun watching a father’s pride as his child replicates his life’s passion. Loved it!
Izzy did an amazing job on the voice over. And man! Seeing her laughing and bonding with her dad always makes me happy, I wish to see more!
Actually had to rewatch it as I didn't even realise she did a voiceover. She's a natural. It was so professional, it didn't even register that an "amateur" had done it.

Seeing Richard's proud dad smile and laugh is the most wholesome thing ever. This looks like it was a fantastic father daughter bonding experience. Both of them clearly had loads of fun and Izzy got to learn something new, well done!

I often forget that despite the crashing, Richard Hammond is still a great driver. Watching him drive around the stage reminded me of how well of an amateur drifter he is.

Seriously, show me a professional racing driver who has spent as much time in a car as he has and hasn't crashed, and I'll show you an unsuccessful driver. Hammond has the skills. It's just his enthusiasm for doing better, one more no more, mentality that has caused his crashes... and a blown tire.

And remember him racing the Noble at Imola, by far the hardest and scariest car to drive out of the three..
Abby said Clarkson was the best driver, but that was after the rimac crash so it makes sense that he's calmed down
I absolutely applaud Richard for doing this for his daughter, invaluable driving skills that become invaluable life skills. I was raised on a farm, and after the rain my Dad told us to go out in an old 1977 Holden Kingswood (Australian car) with bald tyres and drift it around on the wet grass of the paddock. It was awesome time and the skills gained were excellent that now I'm more at ease sliding than I am holding a straight line 😂

Richard, you’re exactly right. My father took me out in the ice and snow and taught me all about sliding and counter stearing. It’s saved my life many times.
It truly is a valuable skill. I learned in an empty Sainsbury's car park in a '73 Capri.

Richard is the legend of dad goals, Izzy done so well and I just love how they can vibe of each others enthusiasm. Would love to see them compete in smaller rally competitions

Seeing these 2 together, on the odd occasion you can see a dad's pride shine through the TV personality. That personal touch can't be faked and it's an amazing thing to watch.

I may be jumping the gun just a bit here, but I can see honestly her taking over her dad’s job as a test driver in the not too distant future, even if for just a short while. She shows some potential.
She seems brilliant I’m really impressed with her! She seems to just have a natural talent for both driving and presenting, that sort of stuff can’t be taught!
Plus she can connect with the younger generations and hopefully keep folks interested in cars.

Watching this reminds me that Richard has expressed he missed a lot of his daughters growing up, because of TG and TGT, so it pleases me to no end to see a dad connect with his adult daughter. More of the Hammond family journey is much needed content.

The first winter my daughters had their beginners license here in Ontario Canada I took them to an empty parking lot in my truck and taught them how to control the skid in both 2wd and 4wd...the had fun and learned real world skills....also did this with nieces of ours....they are in their mid 20's with kids now and last winter my one niece thanked me for doing that as she thinks it literally saved the lives of her an 2 children.....

Izzy needs to get a couple more friends so we can have a Grand Tour for years to come, she’s definitely got Richards personality so she’ll be a hit on a show for sure.

I have loved watching Richard Hammond from his days on Top Gear. This is the first video I have watched on his channel and it was absolutely amazing. His daughter is adorable and his interaction with her is priceless. He is a lucky man.

Richard is a great dad for sure, you can really tell he was so impress with his daughter driving. Is it me or can everyone see that she defiantly takes after her dad, they both have the same get up & go personality carefree fun attitude, the little giggles & screams was so cute.
