We don’t build disposable housing - like so many apartments and even some single family homes you see built these days! It’s wild how they just tear down apartments built in the 80’s and even 90’s now!

@sira451 ck out "Incredible Tiny Homes", they are one of the first to come out with SEP steel polyethylene foam filled panels walls & their homes & best of all ARE much more cheaper & they certainly dont lack the creativity &, they do not believe in price gouging people, when one can get these panels for free to begin with..
HOWEVER, indigo homes kitchens are more appealing

I like, but I would like to have more detail descriptions, you did not for instance open up the pantry, would have liked to have seen how big it is!!
I have loved all your little houses but this one in particular seems strange to me, a half bathroom? It is a small house, it only needs a bathroom, but nothing for tastes. I congratulate you on your channel, your work is simply exceptional...
The family we built this home for needed 2 potties. So we built it for them!
Question: If the house was originally for a mom and daughter, where is the second bedroom? Or where was the daughter going to sleep?
The mom was elderly and had some health issues so she slept in her recliner downstairs so she could be semi-upright.
Another beautiful little home that y'all built. I'm curious about SIP's. What kind of temperature range are they good for. I live in Montana, where we get temperatures down to -35 below zero in the winter. And 100 degrees in the summer.
SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) are basically a sandwich of sheet material with foam insulation filling. No studs means there's no break or thinning of insulation and they're easier to make air-tight. So more effective insulation than a traditional framed wall. While thickness of the panel will determine it's total R-Value but like closed cell spray foam, it's around 7 per inch, which is very high for insulation and you can very easily get double digit R-Values with just a few inch thick panels.
Thanks! Yes this is correct. We can make the windows smaller or increase the R-Value on the standard sips if you want something extra for 35 below, but homes we’ve built with sips have a very tight seal and keep the temp super cool in our 100+ degree summers. Even with the mini-split not working all that hard - and it would stay cool if the house got unplugged for a bit or if the door stayed open for a while during shows. I was really surprised when I first experienced this technology in action. It really is like a walk-in cooler.

The mother (elderly) had to sleep in a recliner for health reasons so they chose to let the living room double as sleeping space for mom.
Lovely home, Australia needs to pull its pants up, instead of moving people on, they should be providing permanent park/village for these homes, money money the middle man missing out $$$$$ so make it illegal, move them on
