@jorraptor I’d like to note that if you try to do this on a save file that has the little cloud icon under the time of the save file this won’t work. Just a heads up for everyone. So just save in a different slot and keep overwriting the new save slot you picked
Every time I try it doesn’t work, I save reload and it goes back to the amount of tungsten I had before
It won’t work when I overwrite a save without cloud icon either. I had 5, get 6 from dispatching the guys, then reload with 5 again
The big guy in that tungsten group occasionally dropped some nice armour runes too. Thanks for the tips!

For anyone struggling with combat (me, because I'm a potato that still likes to game) or for anyone that doesn't have the abilities featured in this video, you can always hide in the bushes and wait for them to get close. Whistle twice to get the guard to come over (one whistle won't be enough to get them to investigate) and assassinate the first prick. And then patiently wait in the bushes, whistle some more, until they're all bleeding on the ground. It may take a little more time, but it's a sure way to avoid getting killed and easy farming.

For the nickel farm, the tungsten method works the same to it! On that said location, only difference is, there will be 5 or 6 enemies and one carries a nickel.

They honestly need to let us preview the next appearance on items. Shouldn't have to use Google, the bludwulf shield is beautiful as the 3rd tier, but not sure if I want to go mythical. Same with swords lol. I want to look sweet when slashin, but also want to remain frugal
Create a save, then upgrade the equipment, if you like what you see- keep it. If you want to go back, go back to the save you created. That way you get your currency back, as well as the look that you like.

Just outside of lunden, just north of the bodilsburg garrison there is a patrol that you can do the same farming method as for the tungsten ingot, but for nickel. Right at the crossroads by ver river.

I highly recommend a tactic i use which you basically have the upgraded feign death ability which allows you to simply fake dying next to an alerted enemy so that you can then assassinate an enemy at any point in combat pretty much, kind of an alternative to the sleeping arrow. (only works with the upgraded version)
Tip for getting Carbon,Nickel,Tungsten:If you want carbon go in a level 20 zone and for nickel the easiest zone is east anglia(Or whatever its called)And for tungsten go to a level 190 and up zone(I recommend the place on top of jorvik) Its not the fastest way btw

Another place to farm nickel is at a tower viewpoint where a goliath is all by himself, this is the same tower you go to with Fulke to find her acolyte. All you need to do to spam it is to kill the goliath and then fast travel to the same viewpoint and you can do this over and over since just about every enemy respawns.
This is so helpful, I pre ordered the collector edition a day early, and I’ve been playing 6 hours a day at least, and I have needed a quick way to get nickel and tungsten. I think it was Tag who first came up with this farming method for Tungsten and Nickel, saw it in a video a couple of days ago. Deffo a handy tip thanks Jorden.
For whatever it's worth you can find it from before tags video too. Tag generally just brings ideas from other people's videos to his audience.

Jor: HOW TO GET MAX LEVEL ITEMS FAST
I am playing at pc and the soldiers would remain dead after the load(I dont know if patched or whatever).
It seems like when you save the game it only saves the current state of the soldiers of the area you are in and the rest of the areas are getting reset.
Solution(even though slower method):
-Save and Load into an area out of Glowecestre and then go again at the road the videos shows.
-There is more patrols at this road giving ingots(sometimes i didnt find the patrol videos shows but farmed ingot from other patrols /dont look only for patrols with elites/kill patrols only till you reach the city, after you enter the city I didnt have any drop from them).Only soldiers give the ingots.Kill -> Loot->Teleport back to another area->Save and load->Repeat.
The way I found relaxing doing it was to just save and load at the fast travel of oxenefordscire (the middle one/west of aqueduct) then follow the road north of it till you get to the spot.I know that there is a closer fast travel north of hamtunscire or inside the city of Glowecestre but its more comfortable to just let your mount auto-walk from oxenefordscire road till there.

You don't have to use thorn of slumber ability, you just have to assinate the big guy first then you can chain assassinate any of the other 2 then the other one will be an easy target now, just make sure you have the chain assassinate skill first
I think the reason the nickel ingot isn't spawing or guaranteed is because there is a bandit who will also spawn on that road who tries to avenge his dead brother.
Works great. Got beserker set and longsword to myth no time
Use explosive arrow. Make sure to have the upgrade. One hit kill. Plus the explosion = saves time.
i found another two spots for tungsten. cross road near fort templebrough, ledecestrescire. big crossroad near ravenburg to walden, gatenbridgescire

I did find running 2 daggers kills the soldiers super fast even low leveled

@JorRaptor there is a nice square rune for weapon i got after beating a Drengr. It put your weapon on fire after a critical hit.
The Drengr is in Eurvicscire when you come from the bridge of Lincolncire. He is near an aqueduct.
even with lower level like i have (130) and with right skill build you can use chain assassination on 2 of them and week spot on the last one, quick save + quick load and repeat
Bad news for those of us who waited. As of 14 Sept 2023 this is NOT working. Guess they patched it out :(
Nickel and titanium you can still get them unlimited in east Anglia with save and load method
Nice video 👍 may I also say I’ve come across a glitch that’s happened twice so far with the autosave were the autosave icon just keeps spinning and when you go back to the main menu to look at your game save it says file corrupted so just be careful because you can lose a lot of your hard work.
Manually save the game, even if it say's corrupted, exit to main menu, select you last manual save and it should be fine. Just means when you Saved you weren't connected to the Ubisoft server which happens a lot.
I don't think it's very common, but I've had those named/elite enemies drop ingots and it hasn't counted towards the wealth items in the area.

as of today, 28th Dezember, it does still work! You just need to fast-travel to the nearest spawn-point.
Nice..got 12 tungsten in around 25 mins
Plus theres a tomb nearby to get a pretty good light shield with chance of poison cloud on parry

Another way to kill the enemies for the tungsten ingot is to bump into one of them to slow him down while the others walk and go further assassinate him and then do the same thing whit the big boi (if you want whit the remaining enemy too)
I have full flawless gear and weapons so this will really help

Remember everyone you can kill the zealots easy while in your boat. As you have unlimited arrows. Take note, for the zealots who heal themselves it is best to be near a raid spot. That way you draw the zealot near one
(i know tedious but this is meant for those who are lower power)
And when the zealot is down a decent amount of health you press raid on your ship. Your men wilo hop out and charge the zealot. Providing a distraction as well as periodic hits to help with zealots healing. Also the skill
"missle reversal" is a huge help with zealots especially eorforwine.

If the spawn in Essexe is not there, there's no need to fast travel and meditate , I did 1 meditate then save and load and all was good
There are tons of groups like this randomly appearing in the map. It's not a bug, it's like in origins where groups of guards were carrying materials in the roads.
Nevermind I see why it's a bug now.
A lot of random patrols drop these, rarity tends to follow power req of the zone
you don't have to kill them. the same thing can be done but you can "steal/pick pocket". just hide in the bush and as they walk by sneak with them and steal the items and sneak back to the bush and rinse and repeat

I found out that you can save right in the area of their spawn that you show on the map and just load it back up and they will be there even if you don't see them first. Works on both groups

dont need to kill. Just pickpocket. More fast. AND in the gates of GLOUCESTRE there 3 horseman in patrol entering in the cid after 30 seconds. Each one have a rare big rune EVERY TIME you reload.
My game even bugged out. The enemys arent attacking me and i can just steal from them. Easy farm ^^

Hey man, you can simply steal the ingots from the dudes. Hide, steal, hide again and save. Takes Like 5 seconds for each ingot.

BTW?! Do anyone knows if same runes and shield effect stack? Using Sarcophagus shield + 2 weapon runes "Parry creates small fire around you" but dont see any difference if using just one.
In Essex I keep finding two patrols side by side immediately south of the fast travel near Sancta Marias abbey that have two men carrying nickel ingots. Then I keeping flying my bird to find more patrols. Found like 4 or 5 in one go round but none near the abbey like the video suggests unfortunately.
Apparently, cloud save affects this, and disconnecting your internet while previously playing online will cause new saves to become corrupt. Just my personal experience.
The fastest way to get the nickel is to just steal it from them then save and load. You dont have to kill them it would be much easier. All you need to do is to hold square on the 1st person on the troop to steal the nickel.

Just found out that the enemies with loot respawn even after you get that wealth from that area stronghold.
Also I think the level range for materials is this depending on the area's level range.
1-55 carbon
55-upper 100s nickel
Upper 100s to 340 Tungsten
You can go to shops but I rather not spend too much silver
190+ have tungsten
you can farm silver at wulden by doing the drinking game infinite times

If any finds a weapon rune similar to the kopis daggers main ability rune please let me know it’s probably called critical restoration (something to do with healing) rune would be much Appreciated because I think it would go well with the soldiers flail so you’re always above 90% hp
tried it on the PS5, they do have the ingots, with me there were actually 2 enemies with the tungsten ont, but when i saved and load they wouldnt spawn again, there were still the courpes
the crow can find these enemies very easy....the are golden ;-)
I have maxed out all of my Thegn armor my fafnirs spear lagethas axe and death skalds in 16 hours of play time. Power level 50 and some good assassination timing 😂
If you want a 5 o cool shadow beard just click no beard at the tattoo shop. Not “shaved” if you equipped original beard hit it once again. Have not seen anyone post this.

Is there a min power lvl you need to be in order for the patrol to appear?
There is a Patrol at Thaerelea Ruins where one of the guards have a nickel ingot...
OK so easier option instead of killing them,yes i know you won't get the XP but just walk up behind the guy with pouch on his back and steal it from him, save, load, rinse and repeat, helps too if you too low level for the area. Thank me later :)
Depending on the dificulty you have it on (for stealth) the vecome aggressive sometimes

Can confirm this does work well, as for the silver bit it does start off at 10, 15, but then climbs into higher amounts like 58 to 100

No they didn't. Im doing it right now and it works perfectly. Make sure you find the right group of soldiers walking down the road. They are there and it does work even after patch 1.04

Have u seen how good the blacksmiths hammer is u should put it in one of your vids and if u get a critical hit with the hammer it will push them to the floor
