I’m super late with this this but, the rectangular chests will always have supplies. While the chest with the rounded top will give ore and leather.
And supplies, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but you can look to the left side of your screen and you will get supplies when you open those chests
The round shape barrel icon is for supplies you will always get 200 supplies and like 50 other supplies this mainly counts for raids tho
But yh the rectangle cheats will most likely give supplies but sometimes it gives armor aswell depend on the raid

I've always hated and never understood why the best stuff to get in game is always at the very end of the game. like, what's the point of exploring and playing the game when all the cool shit is after you did everything in the game to get that stuff. sure, new game plus, right? well, no new game plus in Valhalla. at least not yet. don't get me wrong. i like the game. as much as origins. but i just wish getting the bets gear didn't mean completing the game to do so.
Yeah, I just got Mjolnir, but there's not really anything else to do story wise. Good thing I left some of the raids and animal hunts and such, or else I wouldn't have any reason to use Mjolnir until those DLCs come out.
Ok so hear me out... I’m not entirety sure what Ubisoft’s reasoning is, but I have a few thoughts. Does it make since to have access to the best gear in the game immediately when you start ? I think it’s to give you the feeling that you earned the gear, especially in other rpgs, you start off as the low man on the totem pole with nothing in your inventory, at the start of a game you don’t feel like a badass at all, and around every corner is a high level enemy that can kill you instantly. But as you progress throughout the game you are slowly able to obtain better gear. And by the late game you feel unstoppable, and you have a feeling of accomplishment, and that you truly earned the high level gear you have obtained.
TLDR: getting the best gear in the game early is immersion breaking, and through progression it makes you feel like you have earned the gear you now finally have.
Tue problem is tat you get the stuff TOO late in the game. By the time you get Mjolnir Gungnir or log 6 settlement there is literally almost nothing to do. You almost have to 100% the game to get the stuff so your point makes no sense nobody wants it super early but we don't want It when there is nothing to use said op weapons on.
@@therealbeastXL who said anything about immediately? why not like 75% through the game. why is level 6 not achievable until end game? so, you "earned" gear at the end of the game to then not be able to use it to play any of the story missions? yeah, sounds dumb to me. again, I said nothing, nothing about getting the best gear at the beginning of the game. just that it shouldn't be the literal end game gear so it's useless. if you want the best gear, then go buy the MTX crap. the draugr is some of the best gear you can get in game.

I don't know why the fiery looking ship set is called "Niflheim's Wind", Niflheim is the realm of ice and mist, Muspelheim is the realm of fire, it should be called "Flames of Muspel" or something.

Because you need the fire and lava to melt and travel on the frozen rivers of Niflheimr. That's my take on it at least.
@@TheKszh That's one way of looking at it, but personally I think the name would make more sense being fire related, after all you need the "Flames of Muspel" to melt the ice of Niflheim to get the Élivágar.

Important fun fact for everyone to remember 70% of players are suffering from a glitch that makes it to where there are not enough raw materials in the game to reach level 6, Ubisoft is of course doing nothing to fix this bug

We are still thousands of people who cant progress in the game, because of the 'A brothers Keeper" bug. Hopefully they will fix that gamebreaking bug soon

@@james8bit420 it’s “unavoidable” as far as I’ve seen in the terms of it just happens. For one of the final story missions you have a fight and after it’s supposed to trigger a cutscene and the final boss fight. For lots of people the cut scene doesn’t trigger so you’re trapped in a cavern you can’t leave.

predator bow is great +20 gets added to all back damage, since its a global stat. Considering your base is 50, +20 is alot, add this with the +25 back damage when dodging spear and runes

I played and finished everything in 126 hours had about 5 crashes. Still a lot but not ridiculously alot
One thing I noticed is you can tell what chests have supplies and what has iron and leather. The square chests are supplies the rounded chests are iron and leather
I just reached rank 6 on AC Valhalla last night, the game was absolutely worth the wait.
the isu naval set its just on point, going for that and lets be honest here how much people are going to farm money now for those skill points

that would’ve been too silly for a serious game like black flag. I don’t think there was a single mission or side mission that focused on humor like the world events of odyssey.
2:04 - thats the tip I needed. Use your bird and any sign in blue can be upgraded. Sometimes it is hard to find the actual sign for the upgrade also.
The mount should have been the reward for the offering alters from asgard and jotunheim

The upgrades I do in the settlement keep resetting... Every day I go on this games there seems to be a different bug that ruins playing it

Just a small thing you forgot to mention. you need to have done near to all main missions to be done too. For much settlement upgrades are mission rewards.
Niflheim, The World of Fog and yet the figure head looks more like something related to Muspelheim. Great job Ubi, way to stick with the mythology on that one.

I actually finished the settlement before completing the main story. I did finally find the reindeer mount in mounts I could pay for. At last!
How. Where tf did you find more raw materials. There is literally none left anywhere at all anywhere in the game for me to get and I’m stuck at ONE upgrade shy of lvl 6. It’s complete bullshit.

Not sure if anyone else had this problem, but I have all of the buildings maxed out to the best of my knowledge, but there's this tiny sliver left in the settlement progress bar. I haven't been able to deal with aelfred due to a glitch, but not sure if that would effect it. Any thoughts would be welcome!
When completing an alliance it does contribute to growing the settlement you if you didn’t complete all the alliances, then do that because that’s most likely why
How do I pledge to hamtunscire. I've completed every other pledge on the alliance map and on the last one I completed I had a cutscene with Sigurd and he said that ubba is here too see you then after that I didn't get any more story missions.
how do you get enough supplies i’ve just gone around all of england looking for the smaller boxes after i’ve done all of the raids possible and i’ve still got to find 2400 supplies
You can also get a falcon skin for sunin from the stable when you reach level 6

That Mark of Sol Bow just happened to be the Ahmenhotep bow from AC: Origins. I should know it's my favorite Predator bow to use in that game. Glad it's in this one. I will surely try to get it if I can.

Hi JorRaptor, sorry to ask this, but are you play on PS5? Because i play on PS5 with the upgrade. But when i go to the Merchant the scheme she sell to me, are completely different. I mean that in the shop, the scheme do not look like as a scrool. the scheme of the Settlement and the ship have specific images for that object. Only those of the tattoos look like scrolls. I am missing something?

Yeah I saw that, here's my problem with these outfits from what I have seen so far, the hood on Altaïr's is not like his hood, it's very droopy, and Ezio's roman outfit did not have a cape

I built everything and finished the main story killed all the order of the ancient maxed every building but I am still not level six

It's impossible not to level up to six that doesn't make any sense
@@mikewhite6369 there’s chest that give supplies and you have to loot however many chest in order to get to 6, but there’s a bug that’s causing the chest to not drop supplies for many people
One of the main issues I have with this game other than all the bugs is the reward system, many of the bosses you kill don't even give you weapons/armor they just give perk points.
the game feels half assed, honestly.
@@biggumstevens1784 the game feels good, it's the loot system that's very bad, previously we've been given marginally better equipment as we've progressed, unfortunately valhalla is relying on the nickel, tungsten, iron and leather to get the best weapons and armor. you can grind early on by fishing with a spear, and farming tungsten from a certain location to get decent equipment early on, and as the game progresses you can defeat the witches for thor's armor, obviously and stupidly waiting till you kill all of the order for his cloak to finish the set, i'll admit i'd prefer armor dropping like it did in odyssey, but this games good in the sense of being able to fight above your weight class, in odyssey someone twice your level one shotted you and your attacks didn't dent them, in valhalla you can finesse your way around people 3 times your power level.

I am at settlement lvl 5 and have no raid areas left on map what have i got to do to unlock more ? exploring doesnt seem to be working and i cannot seem to find any quests to continue the main story

I was playing then my game crashed and my last 2 hours of data corrupted so now I’m mad
i also found out that alongside the shore there are small raidable bandit and military camps and since they are raidable they do give supplies at least
I have every upgrade except one. Because I'm apparently missing like 6 minor chests and I just don't feel like finding out where the ones I'm missing are at. Can they spawn in chests outside of raid areas? Then I'll just collect them while I'm doing other stuff.
I really hope they add new game plus soon and let me keep all this awesome gear. It feels weird that so many great items are only usable after the main story line.
Should they go through with NG+, what do you think they’ll do with the wealth chests that originally held armor?

I’m not sure but see if your feast stats are like his cause if not then you’re indeed missing a building. But if you figure it out plz tell because I’m having a similar problem but I have all the buildings done with upgrades but I have like a bit less than half of a bar left to get to lvl6
U sure done the maximum lvl of the feast buff and do alliance pledge that increases the settlement level.

Really? I left a lot undone and had no problem getting to level 6. Just raided every monastery (and the alliance map) and in fact I have some left over.

Do I need to complete a specific arc to unlock Karis house? It's the only thing I need left to build for level 6
I cant get to level 6!!! HELP Ive built all the buildings and completed all the raids and ive completed the full story but the only building that ive been able to upgrade twice is the cattle farm and ive used the raven to check there are zero buildings left and all the building icons are black and ive walked to each building and there are no more signs that asks me if i want to “build” (upgrade) the buildings. So what do i do? Is this a glitch?

My settlement is glitched. I have every building upgraded fully and it says I'm just under level 6. I only have 3 more story arcs to complete and then the game is done. Don't know how to fix this.

I have the mission where I need to speek to the lady, about the item in cow carcasses... It's hard to find her in town since it doesn't mark her.. cuz I know I met her once in middle of the town, cuz her dialogue popup and I can chat to her, however I don't have the atm.but now I have it... Welp... I m not gonna go check every npc to finish it lol

Shouldn't we be collecting taxes and money from our settlement? We are the Jarl and we protect everyone in the village yet no one pays taxes
Maybe in later eras, but taxes in the way we think of them weren’t really a thing in Danelaw. Everything operated a lot more like a commune, everything went towards the good of the whole settlement and distributed from there.
because eivor isnt selfish and expects everything there his friends not stangers from other clans he expect no benifit from protecting them
I do feel like you get mjolnir and the tier 6 rewards a little late but I guess you’ll be able to make use of them in dlc when they come out, I’m sad I spent all my silver buying all the stuff in the store pre level 6 to complete it so now I don’t have any cash to buy the ship cosmetics lol

So...We have "White Senu" in the Uplay rewards. Bayek's Hidden One outfits was for the reveal event, and you can get Bayek's bow/Amenhotep's bow in the shop once your settlement reaches level 6? Is Ubisoft trying to tell us something?! Bayek sequel confirmed?!
...Just kidding. XD Although I do like that there are several Bayek related items in this game. Good news is I'm at level 6 for my Settlement! Bad news is I need more Silver to buy everything. XD

hey everyone i have this problem with the game that i can continue to play 2 story arcs in ac valhalla : the lundun arc i simply cant find stowe and erke in the villa where you should go + forgot the name of the place but you can help hunwald reclaim his right as elderman of his shire he simply wont walk to the camp where he should when to kill the bishop in the fort anyone having problems like me or im the unlucky one ??
You need to do main story quest to get raw materials. You can get supplies from anywhere in the world in towns. I did all the raids and didn’t have enough raw materials to even get to level 5 settlement

Finished every raid and story and I have thousands of supplies but I’m 10 raw materials short from max settlement upgrade. What am I missing?
Last time I was this early we didn't know that all items are unique
I don't know if I missed something or I'm just nutty but it feels like after one of the recent updates I find more supplies more often, I've found them in chest in restricted areas like bandit camps and the like, when I wasn't finding them that often on day 1.
This is really wierd, but redas shop have no items OR quest for me. The worst part of it, all of my Opals is gone!
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I think with the thor set it should of had a little story behind it. Like a reason to search for the item more than just o hey thors stuff, cool. Also getting it at the end of the game is just odd unless you have new game plus. I've heard its coming but it should have been in there.
Quick guide , looking for supplies almost st the end of the settlement upgrade ? Done all raids and what not ? Hover over each done raid and u shall see gold dots , go to these raid places , go to these gold dots , valaa , you will get supplies . 100 sth each .
