lubed with krytox 205g0
gateron black ink v2 for the backspace
durock L7 62g for the spacebar
durock koala 62g for the enter key
gateron pro milky yellow for everything else
lubed & clipped/bandaid & holee modd

i think you did super well for your first time! my only criticism was the video itself. it is INCREDIBLY quiet. i had my volume on max and could still barely hear it. but from what i did hear, you did good! better than my first keeb mod for sure

I recommend improving sound quality though since I had to turn on full volume to hear well.

I used to lube the springs with Krytox 105, also tape band-aid onto pcb where the stabilizers touch on. Anw, Thank for your sharing, it's so helpful.

I also have this keycap set and I feel they contribute to that interesting muted clack sound. I have mine on a keychron q3 and still looking for a higher end BoW set with japanese sub legends.

OMGGGG! I'm also thinking of modding my RKG68. I've been watching loads of videos and it eventually led me here lol. I'm having hesitations though. I might mess it up and ruin my keyboard. Any tips? And is there any interference you've experienced since you have cherry profile keycaps?

i only recent learned about the interference on north facing led lights but im only a noob on keyboards so i dont really see or feel any difference tbh haha but other than that they keyboard works fine hahaha

for lubing the springs- you can just put an amount of lube on a plastic and drop your springs there then shake it. That way you'll save time. Nice modding though!

It's a feel thing, the legs she clipped on the stabilizers make it feel mushy, since it softens the impact when it hits down on the pcb

The stabilizers are clipped because if you don’t clip TA Ilias ers they will feel mushy,so if you clip them they will feel and sound much better
