Maybe these love songs would be called corny now, but they were an effort to communicate an aspect that's good about being human. These days we seem to be promoting behaviour more akin to the way wild animals behave - and it's all reflected in the aggressive, sexually explicit songs being produced. We're in trouble and it won't get any better.
