Hi, Director of "The Puppet Monster Massacre" here. Thanks for mentioning the film. I am currently in the process of remaking it! I just wanted to comment on one thing. I can't claim the movie is good, but some folks do really like it. Enough to fund a remake. I would never fault anyone for not liking it. It's cheap and silly and juvenile. The one thing I take issue with is where you call the film "Lazy". I shot, edited, did the sound design, created all the vfx, and puppeteered all the puppets myself. It was a massive undertaking that took well over a year of sleepless nights and sacrificed weekends. It was my first film. I made it 10 years ago on a budget of about $3,000 with a Mini-HDV camera and an $800 junk PC from Best Buy. My mom and I built all the puppets from scratch. Everything else you said about the movie is totally fair, but I can't help but contest the "lazy" comment. The movie may not be great (or even good) but I worked really damned hard on it. Thanks again! Good luck with your content!
You're right, it's unfair to call it lazy since it shows you've put your heart and effort into this project. You're an indie director and I can only imagine how hard it is to make your 1st film. It's great that there are no hard feelings, and I hope you do well on your future films! (edited out grammar mistakes)
I loved your work on the movie hope to see more films from you maybe in the style of 30 seconds long puppet shorts or a creepy-pasta styled arg puppet series would be a really cool format to expereiment with.
Don't forget Strings , thunderbolt fantasy and the dark crystal. Those three are underrated puppet masterpieces and should be viewed by both adults and children. There's also this one puppet tv series om the geek and sundry youtube channel aimed more towards adults.
I've never heard a commentator with such disdain in there voice for a subject as in this video the TH-cam trend of " bashing as commentary " has already worn thin hearing someone talk about how lame something is, is a real drag and let's be honest if your gonna watch an adult puppet or animated movie it's gonna be pretty weird so if weird is not your thing just don't make a comment and let the rest of us enjoy

I'm creating a cartoon. It's called, Forgotten Tales! It's about these forgotten and obscure characters that go on wacky and crazy adventures.
I guess everyone knows about "HEAD"!
HEAD? Where's HEAD? :)
