I thought you were going to say designed for a “more traditional, curved and aesthetically pleasing backside”…nice to see some Triumph content again!

Speaking as someone who remembers when diamond patten stitched seats were common place on motorcycles, not the plain ...'Oh! by the way, we need to put a seat on the bike attitude'' its good to see a reintroduction. Your new seat looks a lot better than the standard offering. My Biking friend has just bought a brand new T120 which he's in the process of 'blinging up'. to personalise his new ride.....The last bit of bling I installed on my Triumph were the shiny steel valve caps ....with 'triumph motive'....I am now considering LED sequential indicators..

I'm an RE owner but always enjoy your Triumph content, for entertainment and general information purposes. Great video again and oh, I like your watch! 😊 I have several Vostok mechanical and automatic watches but the less said about those the better at the moment eh...

C'mon Stu... is it more comfortable than the stock seat...? or is it all for show...? It lools great, but I don't find the stock seat that uncomfy for a tankful o' juice, but a day in the saddle...? whats your verdict

Put in my order for the brass bit, it will match all the rest of the ribbed pieces I have on my Speedmaster from them. I love the look of that seat. The stitching looks great, but it would look even better with gold threading to accent the brass bits.

What a fantastic looking bike!!! The Triumph Bobber is my favorite looking bike but I continue to shy away from considering one because of the spokes and tubes even as I am seriously drawn to it for the looks and sound. I imagine I'd be spending an inordinate amount of time keeping after those spokes and hard to reach hubs. Loved seeing the Hammie. Over the years that's a watch I've considered many times but always end up getting others.

Motone just keeps up the hits don’t they? Love the Seat. Cannot wait to see what they are going to produce next. Thinking my next bike is going to be a bobber. Any thoughts on a bobber as a daily rider?

I will buy myself a Triumph Bobber one day, I will wait until I'm tired of the 2012 T100.
And you are right about that original bobber seat Stu, it looks like it's off a 1940s Massy Ferguson tractor.
Let us know if the King Cobra seat is comfortable on long rides please Stu.

Thanks again Stu, it's always a pleasure to hear your dulcet tones but I must make a confession at this point. I personally don't, with the exceptions of the early trident 900 in red and black and the T595, actually particularly like any of the new Triumphs. Nope give me a pre 1985 proper Triumph any day. All the best Chris White...

Nahthen from Lincoln Stu! Great to see Triumph get an airing again, especially the Bobber as I have one of those. Best looking bike on the market IMHO! That seat really interests me, it looks comfy enough, I have an Alex Leather seat medium size seat with 2.5cm padding, it will be a lot firmer I suspect than your Motone seat, but still very comfy over around 70 miles for all the reasons you mention in your previous video. I am intrigued by this Motone seat, and wonder if it's worth adding to my collection, or maybe selling the Triumph Black Custom seat that came with my bike as it looks pants compared with the Alex Leather and this Motone seat. Please please please let us know how comfy the Motone seat is, and how it rides 👍

I’d say it is a definite improvement to the look of the bike. The stock seat stood up too high this one is give a more smoother flow to the lines across to the back of the bike., and more stylist with the diamond stitching. Cheers mate 👀👍🏻😁

Hi Stuart. Great vid as usual. I found the original Bobber seat uncomfortable on a long journey. So I bought a original Triumph comfort seat, and guess what? It's uncomfortable on a long run. So my question is, is it comfortable? Ron Degiorgio.

Hi Stuart, nice vid as always. I too miss your triumph content. I still have a peek and enjoy the RE stuff but I am curious, do you no longer ride your T120 ? I understand the dear selector assembly issue was unresolved a while back.

    • @stuartfillingham
      @stuartfillingham  2 ปีที่แล้ว

No it sits at the back of the garage for now. Triumph also wrecked the fuel gauge and fuel computer while carrying out the second safety recall to the wiring harness but refuse to take responsibility for it. so my heart quite simply isn't in the bike now.

I have a 2022 Speedmaster... I was so close to buying the bobber but as I want to use the bike for camping trips it would have been totally impractical.. so the Speedmaster ended up being the bike parked in my garage.. I just keep hoping that Motone will come out with a good rack system that will allow me to use throwover bags and so being able to load tent ect across these bags.. but can't see this ever happening.
P.s please xan you tell me what editing software do you use for your videos?
I used to do TH-cam vids years ago but no longer have any of the software due to exchanging my pc for a laptop..

Do you know if Motone have any plans in the pipeline to bring out a King Cobra seat for the Speedmaster 1200?
    I'd love one.

    Interceptor levers !
When do we want them ?

Seriously Sam "a whole raft" of Trumper parts and you can't get the levers finished ?

The obvious question is why do triumph charge £13000 for a bobber that looks shite. Why should we pay thousands to make the bike look decent with after market products.
