    Not only brushing and flossing helps but also not consuming junk food and sodas/sugar-sweetened drinks much helps, too! I use a battery-operated toothbrush which I bought from Walmart for $5 and does pretty good! If people can afford the fancy stuff, well then that is their business! The video is educating and informative!

    Even with inflation and "Dollar Tree" items are $1.25 now, it doesn't stop me from shopping there, lol. And I'm pretty sure the price hike paid for that Self Service checkout machine!!! They don't have those here in Texas!!!! I do love the Reach floss and the Plackers picks because I'm always getting food stuck in my teeth. I should check out the toothbrushes though but I have plenty from my dentist. I haven't tried the toothpaste or the tongue scraper from the kit. The mouthwash I mix with epsom salt and lemongrass essential oil in a spray bottle to ward off mosquitos in grass and plants.

    Why is the pick in the multi pack bad to use?? I have one molar that gets food stuck in the middle that sometimes needs a pick to get out. I usually just use the pick side of the dental floss picks to get anything out.( and yes, I know it’s not a cavity because my dentist is keeping an eye on it).

    Hi, I have an urgent question and would really appreciate it if you could help me. I decided at some point that I would stick to regular flossing, and I followed proper techniques for brushing and flossing. But when I tried using water flosser after a long time, I still had quite a bit of bleeding even though I wasn't able to see visible swelling and inflammation. I wanted to ask is water flossing + interdental brushes is enough to replace floss? And does the water pik cause gum recession at high pressure like 8( I have the waterpik WP 100). Sorry this comment is long, love your videos btw!

    This video was fantastic, I'm always a fan of affordable products that work type videos! 💕 Quick question for toothpaste, does it matter if the toothpaste has the approval label on it? In my case the CDA (Canadian Dental Association), as it shows that the toothpaste passed their tests for whatever thing its claiming to help. Or as long as it has fluoride I'm good to go? 😊

    • @DarkZerol
      @DarkZerol 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as it's properly labeled and list it's ingredients and manufacturing date then you are totally fine. All type of toothpaste recommended by dental healthcare professionals contains fluoride and that's all you will ever need as the primary active ingredient in your toothpaste.
      You don't need any fancy or pricey toothbrush, toothpaste, floss or any other dental care kit to take care of your dental health. Proper routine brushing and flossing is way more important than looking up the brand of toothpaste you use.

    Now I am thinking of doing implants but I am afraid to do it because I feel that I will lose my remaining tooth too.

    I have a question. Why are toothbrushes that are medium or stronger sold in stores, or allowed to be sold since dentists don’t recommend them? Shouldn’t that be against the law or an outdated practice to make them?

    • @TeethTalk
      @TeethTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      goooood question :) just like cigarettes - if people buy them... then they sell them :(

  • @venkkandadai6042

    Why do they even make medium and hard brushes? Aren’t they the same price?

    Do you have to use a tongue scraper? Can't we just brush our tongue with our toothbrush?
    P.S. Medium and hard toothbrushes are best for cleaning in tight spaces like around the base of your sink faucet, but never for your teeth.

    • @TeethTalk
      @TeethTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      totally don't NEED a tongue scraper :) the regular toothbrush works fine! something that works even better than a toothpaste - is actually a spoon!

    I'm contemplating medical sonography or dental hygiene school, but I love dental but sonography is stable. Can anyone who has been in the field for over 5 or even 10yrs as a dental hygiene and let me know how they have faired financially and emotionally?
