It‘s rather a whole collection of mods. You won‘t get this look by just installing GITS or Nova LUT or HD Reworked. I suggest trying all of the mods from the Google Spreadsheet marked with „Visual Improvement“ and then playing with Reshade. Certain Shaders like Cinematic DOF or Contrast Stretch or Lift Gamma Gain can help. I‘m still trying to figure out which are best and don‘t ruin the Dark Atmosphere of GITS but still help with improving it and also improving clarity.
I‘d say 50 - 75% of the visual lifting is probably done by GITS or whatever ENV/LUT you choose - as an alternative to GITS the works by thecyanidex (Nova-/Edge-/Preem-LUT) or „Gonnweather“ by Swurvgaming are great. But I choose GITS because I like its visual style better, the weather is better refined and it has a whole slew of other stuff that it brings with it (and not all is available as a separate mod). Then the high resolution texture mods are very noticable when looking for detail. This will probably be the thing where you‘ll have to scale back on a 4070 the most because of the more limited video RAM. But „HD reworked“ for example has a more balanced version which still looks better than vanilla and doesn‘t have those insane demands. And other texture-upscaling mods also come with a 2K instead of a 4K version which would be the better (or better to say the „only“ 😁) option with a card with 8 or 12 GB RAM. Other stuff you can do is using DLSS in Performance-mode (I use Balanced or Quality) or reduce the resolution to 1440p… but you don‘t want that! You WANT 4K 😁🤘🏻 So try with DLSS balanced and scale to performance and see how it works. A good reshade can also be helpful but in my case it’s just a few % responsible for increasing the visuals. Also crowd enhancement mods like „astonishing crowd density“, „psycho crowds“, „nc ambient npcs“ or „superpopulation“ can increase the visual experience (and the load on your system) immensely. As always on your journey to ultimate visual fidelity prepare to invest countless hours into testing and be ready for frustration. Because you‘ll end up breaking the gameengine at one point when pushing everything further and further. So make a backup of your whole game-directory before modding the shit out of it because you don‘t want to reinstall everything all the time!
Depends on the resolution, the DLSS-quality-level, the fps-rate you‘re shooting for and what other mods you want. I run this in 4K on the rig mentioned in the description at around 60-85 FPS with DLSS between „Balanced“ and „Quality“. Generally I‘d say a 4080 with a current or last Gen I7 or adequate AMD CPU would be ok for 4K@60 in DLSS Performance or Balanced. If you‘re shooting for 4K@60+ in DLSS Quality with THAT many mods and texture improvements you‘ll need an RTX 4090. I‘d say 32GB RAM should be enough, but I opted for 64, just to be sure. And yeah, your SSD should be NVME, not SATA!
nice showcase and finally some good music too!
*Jackie's Tuned ARCH 😉my favorite!
Yeah, most beautiful bike by far, even though I‘m not the biggest fan of the Valentino-Kitsch
need to drive around the city with this mod

WOW
What mods make the most differences? I’ve got a 4070 overclocked to be near a super so I wonder if it will be able to handle it. Looks amazing tho
