thank God they´re changing the REDEngine for Unreal Engine 5, because most of the game problems of the game were game engine-relative. With UE5 you have lots of software attached like: Quixel Megascans, MetaHuman, Chaos Physics "for 5% of worldwide gross revenue"
It'll be ue6 by the time the next cyberpunk releases. Should look amazing still
@@SwurvGaming it'll perform worse if they use nanite and ue games have some traversal stutter issues 😭😭nanite has been such a con for what it's supposed to fix there's a whole dev post on ue forums explaining why

Pedestrian NPCs and inconsequential parts of the sandbox look better here than player characters and set pieces in a lot of AAA games. Raises serious questions about the condition of the industry.

This is a low, but reasonable, frame-rate. Way more than CP2077 realism demos usually have.
I bought a 4090 last year. I just purchased a new mobo, ram, and a 7950X3D to be delivered tomorrow. I'm anxiously researching my CP2077 mods!

Just try it with lower rays. Should be fine I think
You are so lucky to have a 4070 super. You can actually use path tracing if you install Ultra Plus mod and use PT16 or PT20 on fast setting. I have a 6700xt so I am cooked. Enjoy your path tracing man. Dont try using more rays/bounces, it has almost no visual difference and destroys the performance, although you can test that yourself 👍
How I remember Cyberpunk in my head:
I Don't have a 4090RTX but it is great to see here what it can look like and it is really fantastic that the dev's and and the modding community made this piece of Art for us Gamer's and it runs also on a lower card with all the bells ans whistles in 1440p at least on my 4070RTX !

When there is almost no motion and no people this game looks like real city. Only problem is that DLSS mixing frames, and when you were jumping across roofs it was very noticeable. Nice work capturing and modding that, hope you GPU is alright after that heavy load

I ended up doing what you do with ini trick, 1 bounce and 2 ray gives me acceptable/realistic graphics, i tried really hard to get ultraplus pt next , but always ended up having more ghosting and noise compared to vanilla , + using your gonkweather 2.2 works so well

The movements ruins everything. The car physics and the movement of the NPCs are not quite there. Also the camera moovement is too… linear and robotic.
I just wish Ray Reconstruction didn't look like complete ass on anything below 4K lol, even on 4K Performance I can see the issues in the video, it destroys car reflections in motion, they get well hidden by TH-cam compression 😅
Interested what Adaptive PT is though, I'm guessing it flicks between 1 2 or 3 bounces based on performance
It's needed for me in this game unfortunately. In Alan wake 2 I don't use it. Same for star wars outlaws.

60-65 with fake frames. You can lower the rays for more performance.
I just wonder when they do someting with skin and characters movements ? It still looks like they are from 2005 year, so crappy.

Well, that's nice, but only if you can afford Ryzen 9 combined with 4090. I'm pretty much convinced that in all other situations this setup will be barely playable. 🙄

Every vital thing is in the list. You have any other mods installed? Also what weather states do you want? In the video it's mostly cloudy morning, and a little bit of pollution, fog, and sunny.
Will this mod work fine on a 2080 ti and i5 13600k, 32gb ram ddr5? For example in 1080p resolution with DLSS?
Yeah, everything should be fine. It just won't be pathtracing. Should still look fine without it.
is frame gen being used? if it is how do I get rid of the ghosting when driving?
theres still ghosting, maybe youtube compression is hiding it? i can still see it in the video

what fps u getting ? i have a 4070 and play at 3860 x 1600... i think i will get too low fps
Adjust the rays to your liking. Maybe 4 rays 1 bounce starting and 2 rays 1 bounce alternate
So you are not running a lut like nova and no reshade? I only have 1440 so i think there is s big difference going from 2k to native 4k. I'm using dldsr but still doesn't look like this.
the weathermod comes with a lut

@@JStevensdk7 i have too many downloaded mods i dont use anymore. that list wouldnt work. but most of the big visual mods should be in the description. the biggest changes would be the environment texture overhaul, then the env and lut (GONKweather) and changing how the PT works (Adaptive PT).
Is this vanilla skin and hair material? Any LUT used here?
textures are vanilla. i use alternative skin material. the texture is the same as vanilla but the mod changes the values of how glossy the skin looks.
Are you using custom lut or reshade ?

Most of the closeups are main characters. They are more detailed. Some of the random NPCs like the monk are very detailed compared to the other normal NPCs. I also use the raytraced hair fix mod. It adds raytraced shadows to not just hair but faces and hats etc. That adds to the image

Wow! Just wow! Why move to UE5 when this engine can achieve this? Most UE5 games are a blurry mess with awful performance.

Just downloaded Adaptive PT. What settings should we run?
just play around with it. i was testing out 6 rays 1 bounce for walking and 3 rays 1 bounce for action in this video. totally depends on your system and what you want.
