- This action packed finale will conclude the adventures in the Orre Region! As I continue the story of my conceptual game, Pokémon: Descent of Darkness XD which continues the story of the fan favorite spin offs Pokémon Coliseum & Pokemon Gale of Darkness XD in my own reimagined version of the Orre Region! With a brand new story, new locations, characters and of course Shadow Pokémon! With plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. As this final chapter is filled with more twists and turns than ever as more dark secrets come to light! With the stakes being higher than ever as our heroes must fight for the fate of the Orre Region, without Zion/the Shadow Slayer there to help them.

I did NOT see that coming!
My theory about Wes was correct, and I also knew that the only thing he didn’t expect in his plans was to form a genuine friendship with Rui.
I also knew Wes was a fool to work with Twila, because I knew she would betray him. All the darkness within her cares about is destruction.
Robo-Rayquaza and Jirachi being both present in this story is such an amazing callback to the originals. Fantastic job!

Honestly, I had a feeling that Jirachi's power of granting wishes would be used, though I never expected Rui to use it to make Zion a real human being. I guess Zion really is like the Velveteen Rabbit.

I had barely heard of Pokémon Coliseum before, but this genuinely got me so invested- awesome job on this project! Now that it’s done, I’m super excited for the Zonhe Region!
What an amazing finale to this fan project. The climatic clash at the end got me pretty excited, especially with the 3 protagonists working together. I said it before and I'll say it again. This would make for an excellent third game in the Orre Regio to play in. Looking forward to your next big project.

So much for the whole "Light our darkest hour" thing, but I'm glad Twila was purified and Purified Twila is back in Fyrun. Even so... it's probably Lovrina herself after breaking out of prison that gets the Master Ball with Twila's darker half inside it telling her she knew this would happen and leaves.
Could be. Mykel had teased that Twila would appear in his Zonhe region fan game. If it is Laverina why would she go to the Zonhe region? Other than get out of the region she and her clone would be considered criminals.

Glad to see this fun series end with a bang with all 3 protagonists teaming up. As for the team I made, I went with the following:

When I saw the Protang boys together, I can see them being something like brothers in a way and I was really happy seeing that but when Wes died...I felt my heart break 💔 cause he's actually gone...

I think you mean "Eldritch". Although hate to see what havoc it will wreck in the next series it appears in, since the option to purify it isn't available (within its debut game since someone steals it or to my knowledge in Mykel's other fan regions: currently the Leweka and Fryun) and it seems to be one of the biggest carriers of the shadow virus

Amazing story with an awesome and emotional ending. I'm wondering what will happen with Twila later on with that last thing. She's definitely the main antagonist of your universe.

It's definitely a great idea because Wes never had a redemption arc. He made friends and formed bonds with people, but that does not mean he is a good guy now. Plus, how do we know he wasn't using trust as a tool to trick people? The person I can say cared outside of his Pokemon is Rui.

Several Q's:
1) Will you have a post-game video for this series? (I recall from a previous video that you said you will feature every Eevee-lution as a partner pokemon but there has not been a trainer with either Flareon, Vaporeon, or Leafeon as their main pokemon/eevee-lution partner)
2) After Zion became human do they identify as male or with male pronouns? (Noticed you used "he/his" when referring to Zion while describing the post-credits scene with Rui. After rewatching from beginning of part 5: you also swapped to he/his/him oronouns for Zion even while Zion was inactive/robot)-.(found the answer in one of your replies)
3) How do Espeon and Umbreon feel? Do they stay with Zion and his eevee-lution partners or are they released into the wild?
This is an excellent ending to this game: having the 3 protagonists team up for the final battles, Michael getting back his Lugia, and Wes making up for his actions in the game. If this actually gets made, this game would be interesting and I would play it.
Btw: I knew about Wes originally being the antagonist for XD from a Chuggaaconroy, but I honestly didn’t know they coded in a team for him (probably unfinished), so that’s cool and makes me wish they could continue the original story.
Great video! Robo-Rayquaza looks pretty cool, I love it 😊 OMG I cried a bit during the last part after Wess sacrifices himself 😱😭
It also showed that although Wes did do a lot bad things, he still valued people’s and Pokémon’s lives and his friendship with Rui more than power. Even in his final moments, he cared not about gaining power, but about saving the lives of others, including the other staggers.
He could’ve run away or did nothing to stop the Darkness or asteroid, but he cared more about making sure that the world of Pokémon was protected from a dangerous catastrophe. He even made sure to tell Zion to look after Rui for him; his one true friend (besides Espeon and Umbreon) who was the first to accept and believe in him.

Now that was an awesome endgame and I just loved the final battle with Shadow Deoxys's Ultimate form fused with Twila's dark half and becoming what Lusemine should've been in Sun and Moon. I also like how you went with the original idea for Wes of him being the true mastermind behind Cipher and his redemption arc near the end was amazing. I also like how you made Zion human thanks to Rui's wish to Jirachi and now it looks like those 2 are now in a more loving relationship, especially Dracion with her Sylvion. But who was the figure that took the Master Ball with Shadow Deoxys and Twila's dark half? I hope it's not who I think it is... Looking forward to more of your Pokémon Region videos.

Thats how you write strong female characters...
Rui wasnt a damsel in distress... In fact she kinda safed the day... A real heroin doing everything she can in order to prevent the evil from growing... Especially with this argument she has with Wes...
And Twila... Fearsom villan dispite being female... She is backstabbing manipulative knows her strengths and how to reach her goal...
Why is such good characterisation so rare... Especially for females?
because step one of that process is to make a fleshed out character with motivations, goals, backstory and personality
step two is to decided to make that character a girl, additional themes and situations related to that fact are optional
edit: almost forgot step three, cross your fingers and pray to your preferred deity that people don't do the usual thing and boil said character down to a single trait/joke, not that you can stop it but you can hope

Your work is amazing as always! Been watching for a while, decided to finally come off lurker and comment since the Orre games were some of my first, and it’s great to see them still getting love. It’s heartbreaking to see Wes as a villain, even if he did end up on the side of justice in the end, but it made for a gripping twist. (That being said, I do feel the need to ask: do you have a source for the ‘Wes was originally the villain of XD’ thing? ‘Cuz this is the first I heard of it, and when I googled it, I found that that ‘did you know gaming’ image you showed actually came from a parody account apparently?)
Regardless, good show, and I can’t wait to see what you do next!
Well thanks for watching and coming out of lurker to comment! I appreciate it! And as for Wes being a villain outside the “did you know gaming thing” like I said in the video he was always villain. Don’t forget he started the first game as a bad guy/member of criminal group team snageam, stole the snag machine from them, blew up their lab (potentially harming or killing people) and did it all with a giant evil grin. The games never specified why and most people forget that fact but he was never a good guy/hero even if he was the protagionist, even his design is that of a bad guy if you think about it.

If i had a team for this i would have probably a team of eeveelutions because eevee is my favorite pokemon so having a type diverse eeveelution army would be fun (also ot seems drekeon really had a weakness to its weaknesses (thats a joke on how it has a crush and blushes by sylveon and glaceon))

Quick question: Was Zion a they or a he the whole time? I could've sworn Zion was a they, hearing in the previous videos Zion was a they. I kinda would've preferred Zion being enby over male. They're a robot after all! It only makes sense.
Yes, I used they/them pronouns for Zion while they were a robot for that very reason, but in the last chapter after becoming I used he/him pronouns (they are a Wes clone essentially) to help reiterate the transition / difference after becoming human.

I happened to notice that most of the Instagram posts for descent of darkness disappeared. Is there a reason for this?
From what I've read the claim that Wes was going to be a villain in XD isn't actually true. According to TVTropes it originated from a Did you Know Gaming parody account.
It’s still on the “did you know gaming” official accounts and there is plenty of other information like his leaked team or exclusion from the sequel suggesting this was the case. So I don’t think that’s true but regardless it doesn’t really matter for the sake of this story because I would have still had to come up with a reason why Wes/Rui weren’t in Gale of Darkness and way to incorporate them into this story.
@@mykemon_regions I checked again and the image you used in the video is from parody account Did Yuo Know Gaming (probably the source of the rumor) rather than the actual Did You Know Gaming. It's an easy mistake to make since they just switched two letters around. In addition the only mention of an Espeon/Umbreon/Legendary Beast team that I can find is in reference to a Mt. Battle NPC not a leak. It works for your story but there isn't actually any evidence that Wes was planned as a villain in XD Gale of Darkness.
Not saying you’re wrong (like others I’ve gone like 20 years thinking it was so I’ll admit it’s hard to convince me otherwise haha) but don’t forget he was already kind of shady and a villian in the first game as he started as part of team snageam betrayed them, stole their tech, blew up their lab and drove off grinning after doing so. They never explained why either so he was never really a “hero” or good guy. And for the sake of my story explaining some of his motives for doing all these terrible things was the perfect way to explain their absence (him & Rui) and work them both into the story after being mia for the last game. Who doesn’t love some juicy drama after all hehe

Yes I did lol. A lot of it after that was cut scenes as I stated (wouldn’t take as long in actual game as it did for me to explain everything). Then as I said you battle as Rui with Mummeon/Drekeon, then after Michael fixes Zion you play as soulless robotic Zion until Zion reborn human for the last half and you go back to playing as normal.

@@kokylee8098 I’d say no more than 3-4, minutes before you play as Rui probably. Becuase Pokemon dialogue is usually very fast and short, but I had a lot of explaining to do and also go off on the occasional tangents to try to explain things even further lol

Man, You don't know how I have difficult to find the words to say that the final episode was an AWESOME ending🙃...
It was the end of a wonderful project that not only exhumed a great series of spin-off games and adapted it to the newer generations and to your fakemon regions, but also became LEGENDARY between the fakemon community, since the idea it had behind🤩... Not to mention the Wes' sacrifice, which was the most emotional thing you could ever do for this masterpiece of ending🙃🥲...

BUT I would have prefered a real chance for redemption for Wes... Dying is a cheap way out to avoid dealing with the consequences of his actions...
