This is my go to screwdriver, also works great as a door stopper in facility maintenance.

i bought that set. the bits also work in the craftsman ball grip. they look like theyre made in the same place

They are the same, the craftsman are just the vessel with the craftsman brand for sale in North America but with American bits. The craftsman are even made in Japan same as vessel.

Got it for almost 2 or 3 years now I think and I simply never use it. I’m a Facom, Wera and PB Swiss Tools handles and bits guy.

I really like this set. My only complaints are it rattles a little bit and the white paint comes off the bits really easily. Otherwise the bits are nice.

The cross heads are not Phillips they are DIN Cross Head bits which fit Phillips as well as older JIS screws

They are all an offshoot of Phillips, just slightly different

The shaft shank play means nothing . Vessel shank indentation are are 13 MM on their other bits . Quality Made in Japan . Good selection of bits including a 31 piece kit .

I'm always surprised how much America is averse to pozidrive, I guess like metric versus imperial, it's not likely to change any time soon ...

The standard Phillips is ingrained into society, it’s a legacy drive like slotted that we are stuck with for the foreseeable future. Kind of like imperial standards vs metric.

*Ah, not exactly. Every piece of Hewlett-Packard>Agilent>KeySight and Tektronix electronic equipment built worldwide since ~1970 are assembled with Pozidriv screws. That is literally 10s of Billions of dollars worth of hardware. Still have a few sets of Acme Pozi bits in my tool chest. Cheers!*

I absolutely hate the play in that screwdriver.

It definitely has some play for sure.

I don't believe these are Philips. I think they are JIS which are far superior to Philips. Look it up.
