I could watch Bzeug talk Japanese screwdrivers for hours.
I bought vessell ratchet screwdriver with bit driver. It is hands down one of the very best tools i have ever bought. Thank you for posting it!
The Vessel ball grip is by far and without hesitation the best tool handle geometry I've ever used. It just makes so much sense in my hand. After using these I feel like caveman whenever I use a traditional screwdriver handle
Same here.
I really appreciate your channel!
I would love to see a complete screw driver collection or pick your 15 top picks between Japanese, US, Swiss and German brands.
The Anex look amazing but I wish they came with the option of no drop ring. Very helpful video.
I didn't see the Anex Ball grip ratcheting screwdriver but it's definitely worth getting.
Beautiful collection--excellent video
For Receptacles, more than ECX, here in Canada we use Square #1, works like a charm, very snug in that center position.
You've got to try the Victor Plus ball grip handles. In my opinion the most comfortable and well made handles i've tried.
Great video. On the Vessel Ratcheting Driver’s. Some of the Driver’s look identical except for the color band! Can you please clarify the difference in the middle color band being Yellow or Gray?
Not sure if there’s any other colors!
Thank you
Great stuff, what’s the idea behind this handle design?
One Vessel ball grip I came across on Amazon JP about a month ago that is not available in the US is the Vessel 220 P2x75. Ive never seen anyone review it. It's become my most used now do to its compact/ full size Philips #2. I ordered 8 to put one in all my tool bags.
Do you by chance know of any 2.5 and 3.5 slotted ball grip screwdrivers?
Oh and regarding SunFlag, have you noticed the sunflag hybrid driver is the exact same handle on Shinto's rasps?
Wow, thanks for the comparison!! I've only seen a few of these before, so it's really cool to see the variety of competitors and different styles. Overall, though, I think the VDE drivers from Vessel are still the most compelling to me. I only wish that they had swappable shafts, with a single handle, for a more compact solution to carrying a variety of drivers for different fasteners. Oh, I just realized there probably isn't even a Robertson driver option? Hmm. Tough choice between these and the sets from Wera.
Also, I don't think Vessel offers torque-limiting drivers, with or without VDE ratings?
Wondering what are the top 2 ypu enjoy and would go to for any situation
I’m having a really hard time finding a 000 JIS besides 1 vessel jewelers style… I would like something else as well as one for 1/4 for the Wiha handle or hazet handles I have.
Also, what are you doing for torx/security torx for the wiha/hazet/wera handles(1/4”)?
JIS B 1012 type H and Z screws fully comply with ISO 4757 - in the current standard since 1985. The Japanese PH1, PH2 is no different from the European PH1, PH2.
JIS B 1012 and JCIS 8-70 additionally define a #0 size S-type recess that is indeed different from ISO.
Recess less than #0 are not defined by either JIS or ISO, and they have no other clear standardization.
Wera has WE-135041 PH0 bits for JCIS.
That was my confusion when I just open the SunFlag set of three Tang Thru screw drivers, they don't say JIS... Thanks!
Just saw a bondhus 5610 made in Germany sold from Amazon JP. The Handle is same as vessels but single colour, kinda interesting.
Wow, that one is a head scratcher. Interesting. Thank you. amzn.to/3ZxR0p9
I remember my grandpa used to have a old ratcheting ball head screwdriver in his junk drawer. The thing just kept on working. I’m not sure what happened to it after he passed away. No telling what brand it was i just remember it had a red handle.
Основное фото по красоте затмит даже хвост павлина! Просто, вау!
Nice!
Do any of these make an insulated square #2? lol I am fascinated by the grip style of these screwdrivers
Hmm. Good question. I just looked around a little and I don't see any square drive. You'd have to go to a bit driver and square bit. But I get it, the bulk of a bit holder can get in the way in certain applications.
Whaaat they have gundam themed drivers??? WANT
Where's the Wera Ball(German Yes but only sold in Japan).
Great video, it's like Christmas when you post a new video 😂
Well technically it's not a Japanese screwdriver albeit only being sold on the Japanese market.
If you look at the shape of most of the handles here, you are looking at basic cabinet screwdriver handles in plastic.
Do you have the Anex ratcheting bit holder?
Not quite yet. I expect it to arrive next week.
@@bzeugooh in the Amazon reviews people are saying they like it more than the vessel. Very keen for a comparison
woah
You don’t have to argue they are superior. A person only has to use the ball grip with the Japanese cross point one time to understand it’s obviously superior.
hahaha gundam bit driver :)
Good collection of Japanese screwdrivers.
I have some in my collection and the truth is that I don't like them, I think they are designed for small Japanese hands and they don't work well for Europeans like me, I prefer the conventional design from manufacturers like Wiha, Wera, Facom or PB Swiss .
Resolved: if you Catch Yourself Watching Hours of Comparison between German and Japanese Screwdrivers you're a Man Otherwise you're a Woman
