Test drove a new s650 and I really liked it, but not enough to trash the s550, personally the interior isn’t that great, digital cluster in the last gen was better looking
I'm guessing you use a large screen cell phone. Watch at least a 50" HDTV and likely play video games on a large monitor or that 50 or larger TV . And you dislike the high tech S650 screens. BS. I doubt you've ever set in or test driven an S650 Mustang and demoed those screens. They provide a more accurate display and information than the old style gauges in the S550. Every automotive magazine that ever tested a S550 always complained about it's dated interior.
Yeah the digital cluster was 100x better on the 2021 premium. The big tablet is weird. They shouldn’t have even changed it. People aren’t buying sports car for all that stupid tech stuff.
@@markelraya10 Are you a GT series or F1 series racing fan. They both use large digital data screens as does the pro classes in the NHRA. The reasons are they're easier to read when you are occupied driving the car plus proven much more accurate than analog gauges. Even the 2018 S550 offered a digital displays.
I dunno, my 2024 mustang build is the same price as a new Supra, which is what i'd prefer to get. If things were like before, the Mustang was a performance bargain, but not anymore...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I was curious to see how they actually compared from a person that owned both cars. I removed the carbon filter out of my 22 and I feel like I noticed a difference, you should try it and do a video lol.
Give the trans time to break in and you will feel those utterly shifts again. Reseting the tcm tables around every 10k miles helps with that. S650 is nice but it's just a technology upgrade for the mustang imo
I like them both, but you mean the S 650 mustang looks more plastic looking. To me I saw one today in a parking lot and I bought my 2019 mustang GT performance package one beside the new mustang and I still like mine better but I would take one if the price was the less
They have oil resistant rubber for like oil coolers but I'm not a fan of using rubber wet belt for something as critical as oil pump or timing. I'm not sure if they did it to reduce harmonics in oil pump or to make money as now the service takes longer to replace parts and is more frequent
I’m definitely going to go with a full catback system. Corsa just released theirs and it sounds really good. Waiting for borla to release their and I’ll debate from there. Corsas sound much deeper than the previous generation
Ordered my 24 Whipple charged PP1 last week and yesterday test drive my friends 24. Is it just me or is the windshield more slanted downward and the side windows smaller?? I personally didn't care for it. I'm considering on cancelling and just adding a whipple to a 23 Mach 1 with the tremec
Personally I love the old lady …she had almost perfect looks ,the interior looks like past/future (just needed small updates “ just needed face lifts design…the s550 is a timeless design…the new one is just doesn’t look mustang anymore..the interior is pure crap ..the screen is too big, the exterior rear end is just gross ..I hope I will own the old lady with convertible style also, get dodge challengers before they disappear….this two r now my dream cars …

Im not a fan of the oil pump being driven by a belt in oil or the screens in s650
A wet belt driven oil pump ..I thought that petroleum products damage rubber belts ?

Unless they did something different with gen 4 coyotes for mustang but for sure the f150 5.0 is wet belt
Which exhaust system do you plan to go with if you do end up getting a system?
