No doubt. S650 would be a great performer IF Ford hadn’t locked the dam ECM. I have owned 17 Mustangs and can say Ford really screwed the pooch. One of the most modded and tune friendly vehicles (Locked). Like to have a long talk with the dumb ass who convinced Ford to do that.
He doesn't know how to run it yet clearly. Track mode all traction off manual mode to 2nd gear floor it then throw it back in drive. This will get you the fastest 40-160mph pull.

Raced this with current mods for about 11k miles had it up to 186mph before the hood shake got to bad, we're bolting that down after the whipple is installed. But your right little buddy just keep losing races and knowing it all. This is my 5th modified weekend toy, I'd tell you to hold my beer but I don't think your mature enough for that yet.
The s550s do weigh less than the new Generation. However, the new S650 GT does have a lot more restriction and is not tuned as aggressively as the Mach 1 or any of the Gen 3 cars!
The mach 1 looks so much better. Not a fan of what Ford did to the new mustangs. Looks more like a rental car now. Which some are. Just no charm and Judy plain looking.

What gear is in that S650, 3.15? I think the Mach 1 has a 3.55. This would make a difference too.

Why get a Mach 1 without the tremec?
It doesn't make sense, Mach 1s are even heavier than S650, but Mach 1s make more power too. A regular Gen 3 would have been a closer race.
You have 3.15 gears. No chance to beat an auto mach 1 with 3.55s

Your video makes no sense. I've seen several videos of stock gen 3 and 4 racing and the s650 wins by about a fender every time.
Mach 1 is faster than a regular gen 3. Has gt350 intake manifold and raised shift points so it makes 20-30 more hp on a dyno than a base gen 3

Unfortunately my GT has 3:15 gearing. But that gearing is good for when you boost the car!

It looks clean. I like the headlights. A whipple, fuel pump and some headers and the 650’s will be hitting late 9’s
