- Engine 9 arrived on location with a 3 story vacant building. Engine 9 reported all hands going to work and to strike the second and third alarms due to heavy fire conditions. Fire was very doubtful will hold. The fire went to 7 alarms. A pipeline was established due to low water pressure. No injuries were reported.
Great job all fire departments involved and great video!
Its about time i see a fire video were the firefighters put there heart and soul into beating that fire. But that building was doomed from the start great job guys
Footage from 12 years ago good camera also nice work
Cherry Hill squrt 51, nice rig! GREAT VIDEO !!!
Nice job Mr Hernandez! Obviously, this was an incident where they had no choice but to go defensive on it! Interesting "long lay" for water. Usually that is a rural option.
Intense fire. Glad they pulled back and let it go
What factory in Camden isn't vacant?
simply amazing! what a cooker.
This was a factory that a friend of mine said his father owned and was the last occupants when it was closed.
what was this building used for in its earlier days? Wood floors with varnish on them?
That's some fancy equipment.
Dave -- just curious as to which camera you're using to shoot the Camden fires. The shots are incredible. Lou
Great video. Your right
oh man thats bad. glad there wasnt any fire fighters on the ground when the building fell.
BRICKS FOR SALE!! Get your bricks here folks!!
GET 'EM WHILE THEY'RE HOT!!!
belle video
All these vacant buildings.. feel sorry for insurance companies
Wow. Very dangerous structure fire. That old brick don't hold up to high heat what-so-ever.
Well done firefighters
I worked with a little boy; who saw the fire on the T. V. Screen. So he went got water and poured it into the television. Yep, he ruined it television. He was a child.
If 8ts empty , what was burning .?
That was more fire than you had water. I noticed a couple times when I saw exposure buildings, hope you kept the exposures wetted down. Vacant or not, that's a real loss. Huge building. Ought have been useful for something to someone.
This is why vacant buildings should just be demolished...
Housing illegals Murphy let in .. squatters???? Making illegal or stealing electric...
camden new jersey?
No fire trucks were harmed during this fire.
That smoke circulating looks like a tornado
30 some years ago I got a job in the office at Camden Iron & Metal, All I could think on my way to work was OMG look at this place. Buildings collapsed in the street and people just driving around the piles, hookers all over the place, and crackheads pushing shopping carts full of stolen metal. At one time there were big plants there like Campbell's Soup and RCA, but for the last 40+ years it's been a wasteland
i watch so many of these videos. im starting to smell it. LOL
Do any of you remember the fire in West PHILLY and Mayor Good?
May 1985
Building still there to this day just looks like a bomb hit it .....
Yep that's a fire
Like burning mattresses and pallets covered in tar.
What is the vehicle at 1:45

Looks like a 🍺 truck
UHMMMM WAT KIND OF TRUCK IS THAT CHERRY HILL GOT THATS 1 COOL LOOOKEN LADDER
It's called a SQUIRT.
mrrockdaddy100 we used to call it a snorkel. Allen Hurst had one in 1962.
@@williamschlenger1518Willian, a SQURT is not a truck, it's an engine with a 54' articulating boom with a nozzle. There is no provision for members to operate in like a SNORKEL.
Great shooting but you only got 10 minutes of video from a spectacular blaze like this? You should've gotten at least 30 minutes or so dude.
I think it's pretty obvious that I got more video than this...
I take that was cherry hill taskforce.
Cherry Hill,This is not a drill.
Arson teams busy as ever.. vacant.. no power or squatters msking illegal connections
When vacant & abandoned bldgs are not torn down & removed, squatters or just young punks will eventually burn them. Happens in Philly every day. The city will say there is no money budgeted to do the job.
Think Detroit.

for something like this, you would expect it go to a 10-box alarm
LET IT BURN IF IT'S EMPTY. Why risk the lives of firefighters?
