Just got this guy. I think this is the first megatron with a cybertronian tank mode I’ve liked. I love the longer treads and the tank barrel looking like it has a massive silencer at the end. Gives it a unique silhouette

We already saw the latter to a much more extreme degree when the gang initially got their cogs, with years of wear from hard labor in the mines disappearing and leaving them shiny and pristine, so I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that something similar happened during D-16's cog swap.
Just looked up what a single dose 1:34 would cost here in the Netherlands where I live. Without insurance it would be € 2.520,08 per dose going to a little over 3k for a prefilled pen. Insurance fully covers it! Genuinely inhumane how medicine is priced in the USA.
For something I think is hilarious. Open the chest and put away the head, flip up the hinge joint connected to the shoulders and backpack-turret thing, put the fusion canon in the turret, put the two little gun barrel things on his forearms and you have a really funny and cool looking gun face Megatron
If i had a nickel for every time a Megatron was a hair shorter than there corasponding prime id have two because this and gamer megs are both shorter than there primes. Its kind of annoying
This looks like a really nice figure, I'll definitely get it soon. I'm also slightly annoyed with how long we have to wait for the other SS TFONE figures 😅 (AOTP The Fallen will be out before Elita-1).
Ain't the poor shipping of the other characters is just us being spoilered? I mean the reasony why we got the first wave of RoTB character before the film releases cos RotB was delayed by a year.
I preordered mine two months ago and i believe today this figure finally got off preorder status. Every review I see of Megs makes me anticipated for mine!!
I hope eventually this guy and the Optimus get retooled into their D-16 and Orion Pax forms respectively... and I also hope for eventual voyager versions of Optimus and Megatron, but not like, majorly bigger than the deluxes, I actually like the deluxe sizes (plus I'm not entirely clear how much bigger their upgraded forms are in the film relative to their prior forms and other characters), what I hope for is more detail, articulation, and swappable cogs for Megatron
My local Walmart, who still has SS Bee Movie Arcee warming the pegs, got this figure in. I love him. One of my favorite Mainline Megatron's. Fun to pose, and fun to transform. The canon is kinda meh, but while we wait for the inevitable upgrade kit, I borrowed Siege Megatron's sword canon and took the sword bits off. It looks so good in robot mode with that canon.
I really appreciate that you shared and bright up Warden's Go Fund Me. I really hope he if able to reach his goal, and I really appreciate you bringing it to light
The cannon is pretty accurate, but it just needed to be thicker, at least the width of his forearms. If it had this, maybe the 2 smaller guns could plug into the bottom-ish sides of the gun to replicate the triple barrel. But they are obviously (hopefully) make a DNA Upgrade kit with the cannon, better axe for Prime, and a second pare of blasters and knives for bee
Curious if they’ll do a reissue in the future of this figure where it’s painted to be the post credit version on megatron with the decepticon logo and triple barrel cannon, that cannon is really cool looking and hasbro probably knows people want it so this could be possible When mine arrives I’m definitely giving it a silver airbrush over the grey it looks fine but really wanna do the metallic silver from the film, definitely better than primes odd grey/yellow color
it's good that they're taking their time with the Studio Series toys so they don't end up all based on concept art like the ROTB ones. i think the real issue is the lack of a proper Mainline - for the main cast there's no Elita, no Airachnid (gee, wonder why these two specifically) and also none of the decepticons! we should really have gotten those warriors for more of the cast, the slower release of SS toys would have been way less noticeable.
My only problem with this figure is that it’s too small, if it were a larger voyager or a leader class, I would definitely buy it, but it’s not. Oh well, I’ll wait for either a third party version that’s bigger, or if Megatron is in another wave and he’s bigger, I’ll consider getting that.
They should’ve done a Voyager that’s painted all silver and has the options for the fusion cannon and Megatronus’ Tcog or something, just to give us the options and the nice silver for the star of the film

I was today’s years old when I learned too things. First there is a peg for the head in alt mode. Second I hate that peg and ignore it and just leave the back of the helmet there.
I also cannot wait to get this, so he can complement my Studio Series One Optimus Prime. It is a real shame that we have to wait so long for the other two main bots (B-127 and Elita) to be released. I can wait for Sentinel or other characters from the movie (I am sure they are gonna do a Voyager Alpha Trion at some point). I just want to have a nice transforming set of the four main characters. I think the real tragedy here is that there is no Prime Changer toys of D-16 and Elita. The four Prime Changers we got really feel like a big step up from the Cyberverse and Earthspark Warrior and Deluxe class (also I think that Prime Changer Orion looks way better than the Studio Series release). I had high hopes to get the group together in this design style, so once their Studio Series toys got released I could have the cast from the beginning/middle of the film (Prime Changers) and then from the finale (Studio Series). Alas... I think Yolopark is gonna fulfill my wishes...
I think Hasbro's going to release an alternate version of this figure with the new fusion cannon and the Megatronus scar on his chest to represent his "fallen" upgrade. This figure definitely represents him BEFORE the scar, but his eye color is wrong. I'd be down for a premium finish pack with Optimus in better paint.
They really should have given this color of gray to Optimus and taken the silver of SS Bayverse 1 Megs and put it on this. Though if they make a Brave Commander Megatron, that would be even better.

Yknow if you look at the transformation from robot to tank mode he uses a similar transformation from the core and voyager class studio series bumblebee movie shockwave besides that this is one of the best Megatron studio series figures ive seen definitely picking this one up 10/10 only thing im gonna complain about is it not having wheels for the tank mode they should've made them for that

I've got two issues with this guy. 1st- He doesn't have the correct fusion canon. No big issue, 3rd parties can change that 2nd- i wish his hip armor was more defined. His legs are the correct length, but his hip armor is sculpted in with his thighs and aren't defined, so the look extra lankey
I was at my local Walmart today and I stumbled upon a box for this guy with the figure cut out of course I brought it to some employees and told them what happened
I debated on getting the optimum prime, because of the waist that pops up, but i gave in. However its not bad, it pops up, but its not loose, all the joints are tight, which can be scary. In the end im satisfied with the figure, but the truck leaves alot to be desired. I think ill get megatron too, because it looks pretty damn good, and it'll look cool alongside the optimus figure.
I literally have taken the hip skirt off of Optimus permanently. It takes getting used to but it just looks better than the bulky diaper and doesn’t stop any movement and one less thing to pop off. Anyone iffy about it try him without the skirt for a week and see how you feel
I've been very lukewarm on these toys and haven't bought any of them. The movie was fine in my opinion but there were a lot of things that could have been done better, and I feel the exact same way about the style of the character designs.
what the heck is this lineup for TFone? Deluxes with hands and faces hanging out? I would have assumed they had toys lined up that were more akin to Legacy. Such a good movie with some real let-downs for toys v.v When they do another run of these characters in a better quality, ill buy those. If I buy these im just gunna sell them off in a year or so.
