The anthurium luxurians cross was also very cool.....thanks for another great video. growing up it was lucky charms...i remember my brother filling his bowl then keeping all the charms and throwing back the boring cereal part..🤨....too bad they don't make "just charms" cereal ...now that would be dope....

I'm a billietiae lover too! They can take open sun here in the tropics if carefully acclimatised. However, I'd be wary of more than 4 hours a day direct harsh sunlight. Glad to see your vids are thriving.

Late af but my all time favorite cereal 🥣 is Trix. Since they’re no longer😢, I rock with Corn Pops, and when I can’t find them I will only fool with Rice Krispies 😅 Squamiferum tree is such a good idea!
I have a squamiferum and I might put it on a moss pole (maybe, I'm not good with moss poles). Your squaumiferum is awesome! My favorite cereal as a kid was Honey Nut Cheerios, but as an adult, I love vanilla yogurt, granola, and cut up fresh strawberries. I can eat it for breakfast, snack and dessert.
My squamiferum was 7.00 at Kroger's ( Fort Worth TX ) not on sale or clearance but regular tag price , got it last year and now its huge but leggy so I cut it out and placed the cuttings in water first , they rooted fast and maybe a month ago put those cuttings in leca under grow lights and that puppy its cute and giving me one leave after the other . Love your plants
I used to love Rice Krispies with a looooooootttttt of sugar. Or my mom would mix sweetened condensed milk it. Now I would have to say regular ol pops cereal. Old school for sure.

Hi Dave love the squamiferum got mine from the depot mine was struggling until I put it outside in partial shade not it's doing fine. My favorite cereal is still fruit loops.
Another great video, Dave. There's nothing like a homegrown leaf to tell you that your new purchase approves of your home. My plants are needing repotting already, and most of them are only five or six months old in 'my home' months. It's even warm and muggy here in NE Scotland for a change. If this s global warming I won't be objecting lol.

Thanks E. I got the LuxAOS from Etsy as a sprouted seed. All my imports come from Ecuagenera site because they prices are worth the hassle lol. Hybrid Anthuriums are worth importing because they normally survive. Pure species are a bit difficult.

I got that dirty south heat & humidity and my plants love it 😂Haha Given my previous comments and knowing we like a lot of the same things, you shouldn’t be surprised to know I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal too 😂Haha However I’m back in the gym and tryna eat better so I’m eating more steel cut oatmeal, granola, etc. I need to try those Oreo O’s though! Cool, I think any type of stake/stick will help the Squami. Poles with moss are indeed a hassle sometimes. Oh yeah yogurt parfaits are great!
My Verrucosums Fantasy lost all leaves just stock. Two yrs later I have 2 leaves. My favorite cereal is Cheerio multi grain. Happy Planting 💚🪴🌿
