Perfect recipe! Made it. It had the perfect consistency and melted in the mouth. Just added additional 2 tbsp of sugar to the heavy cream to suit my taste, otherwise followed the recipe as shown.
I make this all the time now since I first since I first saw your recipe, I have tried other recipes but always come back to yours. I made your recipe while visiting my sisters they loved it! I said I would visit again soon they said only if I make that desert again, lol I have made chocolate panna cotta with this recipe for my husband just added about 6 squares of baking chocolate he said it was good. I would like to make it with coffee wondering how much coffee should I add? should I just add instant coffee to the cream mixure or should I make coffee to liquid first? and how much?
@Mary196940 thanks. I am glad you like it. I think with coffee it will be great. You can use instant or brew fresh one. Make a little stronger coffee so that you can taste it in panna cotta.
@Mary196940 if you will be using instant coffee, use 1 table spoon for half a cup of liquid. And then add a couple of spoons in panna cotta. You need to play around to the perfect amount
You can probably use whatever you want as the topping. Like chocolate or caramel if you melt it on there for example. I guess the berries add a bit of freshness to the whole heavily creamy dessert,
I just went and bought powdered gelatine and vanilla beans (vanilla beans are expensive) so I could learn to make this, How many Teaspoons or Table spoons is 1 pack gelatine? I bought mine from the bulk barn so it is loose. I do not have glasses or glass dishes to make it in, can I use silicone cupcake liners? if so do I grease them or not? Also should the sauce be warm when you put it on or room temp? Thank you from Canada
You can definitely use cupcake liners. 1 pack of gelatine is about 2 1/2 teaspoons. The mixture can be warm and then you can cool it down in the fridge
I just put 2 teaspoons of gelatine and 2 tablespoons of water to go with it. Worked out pretty good for 400ml of cream. So i think you can go off that pretty well and adjust based on the amount of cream you're using.
Hello
