I had a similar experience. afer disconnecting the battery from the board and fixing it back, I plugged the laptop for 30 minutes and turned it on afterwards. It worked perfectly. Thank you for making this video.
Let me just say your video just made my day. My computer wouldn’t turn on. I don’t have money for a new computer and I’m in nursing school full time with a 5 year old. I broke down crying wondering what I am going to do. I only have $3 in my bank account. Well, I watched your video and I removed that little black part for 30 seconds and put it back in and then plugged my computer in the charger and IT TURNED ON OMFNFKFMFF AGH THANK YOU SOOOO MUUUCCCHHHHHH🤧🤧😭😭😭😭
Hey man, THANK YOU!!! I know you saved me tons of money. My MacBook Air charger kept blinking, and my laptop wouldn't charge. I found you and followed your instructions and my laptop is now charging, and the light on the charger that indicates your laptop is charging is no longer blinking, and it's a solid color again indicating that the laptop is charging. Thank you so very much. The only money I spent was the purchase of the P5 and the T5 screwdriver set, (I purchased the Mako Precision Bit Set for $40 bucks, because I didn't want to drive all around looking for the individual screwdrivers lol) which is a great investment as well. I'm good now. 😃 THANKS!!!
Seen a lot of videos but won’t work anything, then i tried on of your trick, which is plugin power cable and pressing power button for 60 seconds and then press power button again normally. This really worked for me. Funny thing is i was continue on watching next trick on this video and i heard my macbooks starting tune.. it was surprising for me because after trying a lot of thing I wasn’t expecting this trick will work. Like did the browsers you were on before it “died” all close or what happened exactly? I was working on something really important on iMovie and I really want the answer! Please rely & thankyou❤️
@@Olivia-hu8eg hey! No data was removed no. You just unplug the connector for the battery and then plug it back and it worked fine. It didn't die though no it just wouldn't start up or charge up or anything.
Just "fixed" mine. I didn't open my laptop coz I didn't have the screws but I just slightly pressed the area of the screen thingy shown last (without removing the back plate) after trying the power button stuff since it didn't work. And after slightly putting pressure on the screen connection thingy, it worked! Thank you for this! Very informative.
Omg I was about to take my Mac to the get repaired! I’ve been trying to turn it on for about an hour! I plugged the cable in and pressed the power button at the same time and it worked.
You are amazing. Disconnecting the battery and the SSD worked for me. Thank you so much! If any of you are struggling to unscrew the back, you need a Pentalobe 1.2mm screwdriver. I think the Phillips#00 model also does the trick. Personally - I made do with a sharp knife. It can really mess up your screws though so be careful
I’d like to say thank you so much! I’d lost all hope for my MacBook (and bank account) after speaking to apple for 2 hours and now its fixed! I am so grateful for this video :)

Thank you so much for this video you saved my Mac book and my life .. Apple was tryna charge me $500 just to open it up . I went ahead and opened it myself. And it worked 🙌🏽
I have a 2009 Macbook Pro, and I have been having an issue where the battery would not charge fully, and when I would try to start up, it would just shut off shortly after the apple logo would appear. Before seeing this video, I had disconnected the battery and successfully started up with just the charger, so I was ready to order a new battery. But just for kicks, after reconnecting the battery, I tried doing the charger plug in power button procedure (both of them), and initially it didn't work because I still couldn't get it to start up without shutting off, but after a while I noticed that for the first time since I started having issues the charger indicator was green! So I tried starting it up and it failed, but then I tried starting it up a second time and this time it worked and seems to be stable after working on it for awhile. Somehow that trick reset my system/battery so that it recharged and didn't cause the system to shut down during startup.
Thank you very much, it really worked for me. By just disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, and the SSD card, then plugged in the charger, my Mac turned up.
