I think bodies in general have the intellect of a toddler, at most. Can recommend fitted earplugs and noise cancelling headphones. Combined. Definitely an investment, but very worth it if you like quiet and sleep. (Can also recommend using headphones/turning the volume down to be nice to other people around. Ahem. Adult neighbours who definitely _should_ know better.)

I usually sleep with noise canceling earpods and a sleep podcast, but they were able to break through that on this particular night. It was rough
