Just finished the build and tune today. I have about a million more hours of footage. I will try and squeeze that into the maiden vid for you. Otherwise now that the build is done I will start pumping out the vids. Other wise go to my Just Plane Crazy FB page. I will post a couple pics for you
Just thinking maybe you should have painted the cabane tubes before you closed the mounting holes with bondo. I have a Hangar 9 Pitts S2B and the cabane is painted red the same color as the covering and looks super sharp.
I don’t disagree at all. I thought the same thing. This plane will be covered and painted so it won’t be as easy but the goal is to still paint them with the covering
just curious and im sure you did it but did you check and set the final incidence between the two wings ,l have been flying rc bipes for 50 years and that alone the incidence, can really make a huge difference in the way it flys.If you are not sure a good rule of thumb is bottom wing 0 degrees, top wing one half degree negitive to 0 degrees but never positive built alot of bipes hopes this helps
Carbon fiber seems to be a good idea for the motorbox, but it is not! Carbon fiber will block radio signals. In case of flying toward the radio system/pilot could result in total loss of the radio signal. Especially if all receiver antennas are in the shadow of the carbon fiber in relation to the transmitter antenna in this situation.
Many planes are fully constructed of carbon. I have no worries about the motor box. Range tests prior to flight will also verify this. This plane will be running dual receivers with 900 MHz backup. I have zero concern. I also place all antennas at different attitudes and levels.
@JustPlaneCrazy the fully carbon constructed airplanes have the antennas always outside(!) the Fuselage. By exactly that reasson. If you arrange your receiver antennas with more distance than the size of the motor box, I'll think you'll never have any problems because at least one antenna will always have clearly "electrical view" to the transmitter. But you have to keep in mind that closed carbon areas will block radio signals. This is not a hoax, it is real.
Just found your channel and your content is superb, please continue.
Thanks for watching. Share away
Love the way the Pitts is looking Brandon. Lots of work.
Nice work
Thanks for checking it out. We are getting close to the end of
Thanks for the servo answer. I’d like to see more explanation on how to use a laser. Great builder.
I had always used a holocore luan years ago. I figured through trial and error you had progressed. 👍😀😀
Great job. Can’t wait to see it fly
Me too. Thanks for watching
Looking good
Sehr gute Arbeit. Danke für.dein super Bericht. ❤Danke und mech weiter...
Always learn things from you. Keep up your great work.
Thanks for watching
I definitely agree with the bolts, the wire stretches and get slop after time.
I just saw you on the road and wanted to check out your channel, that's awesome man
Thanks for saying hi and checking it out
Is there a part 6? Particularly interested in flying wire and field assembly. I'm pondering the same build...Great job..!

Ты крутой мужик!!! Моё почтение!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your going to cry when that things eat it.. lol But hey you got the rest of your life to build more..
Great project!! Will you continue with the next steps?
Yes. It’s just a slow process and even slower to make the vids. Currently juggling 3 builds. lol problems right?!
@@JustPlaneCrazy I ordered also a EMHW Pitts and will start building it march/april. The reason for it was just your Vids! Thx a lot!
@olafbappert4560 awesome. Enjoy the build
@@JustPlaneCrazyCome on...when will you finish pt 6???
@olafbappert4560 working as fast as my schedule allows :-)

thumbs up!
Lots and lots of time consuming tedious work. The end result however will be spectacular. Really enjoying seeing you process this build.
Thanks. Appreciate the comment

Yes and thank you. I think that was in the first fuse vid

What servos are you using bud. I have a 2.2m coming in tomorrow.
@wesleysandusky7531 pro modeler ds635
One more question bud I’m curious as to what you use under your prints for building on and to pin to?
