This guy really understands his engine. A lot of you are probably saying "come on get on with it let's fly already." Two stroke gas needs a good warm-up time because otherwise it will actually run lean towards the ports and errode or scar the piston and rings. I've seen this happen.
For the engine sound comments it only sounds like a lawn trimmer when you first start it. As it's flying it sounded just like a regular airplane because of the prop noise.
Amazing scale model but shame it looks odd pilot-less? Why do people go to all that trouble to create the illusion & kill it with leaving out the final scale detail?
i got up to 5:20 before i had to make a comment, simply breathtaking!! awesome!! but it needs a foe, and both need to have paintball machine guns, and the audience must wear eye protection!
Okay something bugs me about three-quarters of the way through the video.Pumping the throttle is not something you do when you hover. I've seen experienced pilots hold a steady throttle and hold a nice level elevation. Pumping the throttle in my opinion is lack of confidence and or skill. when is the last time you went to an airshow and saw a Pitts pumping the throttle when they were hovering or doing a Harrier? Never, that's right.

In general great flight. Very nice airplane!
AMAZING!!!!!!!
what a plane just beautiful awesome flyer and built great - eye catcher thanks for sharing again another great video Here Dom cheers bud.
Solid flight, smoke enhances the routine....wondered whose Pitts this is, EMHW, or ? Also, what other equipment (motor, servos, etc.) is installed?
Good job! I Love Pitts
Excellent
Yes. I thought so too! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Wicked flight chap, 👍
Skill.
EMHW Pitts?
I think so, yes
Nice looking model shame engine sounds like a lawn trimmer 😂
You must be young and the hobby, this is the way they sound. At higher prop speeds the four strokes don't sound any different.
Put a big moki in it
Восхитительно! Мне ещё учиться и учиться!

Супер!! Лайк однозначно.

@Pat McCann It's common actually, each to their own of course but they let themselves down really!

Looked more like a high-alpha pass than hovering.
