I’m so glad that channels like TH-cam exists. I have learned more from watching TH-cam than I ever did in school. I was in the army in 1984 and I was roommates with a couple of gay women. One of them was discharged for being a lesbian. The other girl got out shortly after. It was very sad. My respect to all of my LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 friends. ❤️
It takes a lot of courage to fight for gay rights during the 50s. Bravo to the people behind the early gay liberation movement! Gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights. ✊
Well-said, Milhouse. If only the government and society had realized that societal attitudes towards the gay community were what caused blackmail to be possible. I came out in 1972 and I realized that--at the time many people still advocated for our exclusion from government service on the grounds that we could be blackmailed.
I see so many comments under many videos that show a non-understanding of Pride, It's because we have prevailed after centuries of having to hide due to centuries of persecution. And pride in what has been accomplished in achieving our rights.
There should never be such a thing as a second class citizen. All people should have equal rights under the law, under god, and with society in general. Only then can we have true equality.

The point of a military uniform is that it makes everyone uniform . If you can't do that and you require extra rules extra supervision extra medical . You should not be allowed in the military. I don't care if your straight queer or trans .
