Plotting getting (or developing+making!) some Agar Baits and Boilies and whatnot and this video was really inspiring!
Must have been a very interesting study to be a part of! (Short of manually scrubbing through piles of fish eating footage if that wasn’t automated much…) Probably not half bad for the fish all things considered, just sampling food (tank was probably a bit boring and/or small, but beats getting sliced and diced!)
Just watched tactical bassin talking about your product, definitely going to get some of this scent.

This stuff is good, it’s crazy that it Isn’t over powering like every other product on the market. I use a small paint brush for my soft plastics. I also put it in my skirts on spinner baits and jigs. Also, I’ve been to several big tournaments and I’ve seen many pros using this, just last week on form there was a fisherman who had it sitting in the seat. This stuff is the real deal.

You guys have certainly done your homework in the lab, well done. Now that we have live sonar where anglers can actually view bass behaviour, why not get on the water roll up on some 'reluctant' bass and test your product while recording it live. So is this just for bass that prey on specific prey or any predatory fish like lake trout
Okay. I'm one of the anglers that doesn't use sent that often. I do believe that it does make a difference that's why most of the soft plastics I use are impregnated with some sort of scent. And from time to time I would use sprays and whatnot but never really but serious about using the scent. I watch the testimony and what not for this bait fuel and thought I'd give it a shot. Tonight I used it on all my soft plastics and I really think this stuff works. The amount of fish I caught was one thing but the amount of species I caught was crazy too. I caught two Flathead catfish over 10 lb each easily a drum in the 5 lb range a 3 and 1/2 lb bass. I was fishing a spot that I fished the exact time last year in the same time of day about an hour after dark. I was fishing rip rap on my home lake and as I was leaving I figured I would cast a couple casts in an area where I had my line snapped last year on a fish. Well I'll be damned if I didn't hook into what would be my new personal best. 9 lb 7 oz. The soft plastic I'm using has been doing so good for me this year and I don't want to mention it for obvious reasons. I really think that that bait fuel definitely enhanced my fishing tonight. I've caught giant catfish here and there on bass lures but never two in one night. And all these fish I caught maybe 1 to 3 ft from the bank. It was amazing and I'm a believer I will use the stuff going forward for a long time I believe. So there's bait fuel and then there's one other brand out there that impregnates all their stuff before selling it and they have for decades that I actually think works. Just wanted to share with you the success I had with it and also tell others about it.
I have several questions about BAIT FUEL:
1. Can I apply the BAIT FUEL to my soft baits in their tackle containers without damaging my soft baits or containers?
2. Will the baits discolor or bleed if BAIT FUEL is applied to my soft baits?
3. What is the SHELF LIFE of BAIT FUEL? The reason I ask, I purchased two cases.

@@AmericanBaitworks Im just saying that charts can be a misleading representation of data. As a scientist I cant help but to wonder what the raw data and full study was through the process. Just would be neat to see.

I recently purchased your product BAITFUEL. I would like to know what the "shelf life" is for this product? I also make bass baits, can I add the product to the hot plastisol?
Hi Jesse, no it cannot - BaitFuel Gel is water-based
I tried it starts popping and having a really bad reaction so I would suggest after you pour your plastics if you remove them by they're still sort of warm I would apply it to them then before or after you do the cold water dip
As someone who make baits can you product be added to hot plastic then poured into a mold or is it only for after the bait is made?

You can't add BaitFuel gel into the mix - it is water-based.

BaitFuel does have natural preservatives so it does have a shelf life but from our research will last for over a year.

Poor guy in the lab coat had R programming up. Yall are torturing him lol. Learning and using that program is torture. No wonder it is a free software. On a side note, I would love to come work for yall if you have any open spots as a lab technician. I have a MS in Biology that focused on fisheries and I am out bass fishing at least 3 times a week.

Hey Joshua, we apologize for not responding. BaitFuel does have natural preservatives so it does have a shelf life but from our research will last for over a year.

Aldo, the research targeted largemouth bass however we have had anglers use it to catch smallmouth, crappie, and walleye!
Yeah, i keep getting catfish and crappie among other things eat the bait fuel. My first week trying it out practicing for a kayak bass tourney, I never caught so many catfish on soft plastics. I thought it wouldnt catch catfish because it doesnt “stink” like traditional catfishbait. I caught a blue cat and 2 channel cats in 4 days of practice…normally i might catch one or two catfish all year while bass fishing. I also caught countless bass….so it did it’s job. But it catches everything…….its a good product for sure.
Smallmouth will absolutely hammer this stuff...
Yes it does, Tonight I was fishing for bass I was using it I caught two catfish both of them were in a double digits I caught a drum that was at least 5 lb then I caught a three and a half pound bass and a 9.7lb bass. (New personal best)
@@catchofthedave8681 The same thing happened to me tonight. I don't know what to think about it I caught two catfish over 10 lb each and they weren't but 10 yd separated from the spots where I was casting. The first one came off at the bank whenever I shined my light on it It wasn't even hooked like it was biting down on my weightless soft plastic stick bait.
I think its false. Oil based first of all. Fish cant smell anything that's oil based and not an amino acid base like bait fuel. Secondly, I thought oil and petroleum products repelled bass..
Baitfuel is water based not oil based
