      I’ve just recently discovered his videos. Not sure how long he’s been doing it but I’m subscribed and his videos are definitely top tier. Easily taken the spot as my favorite channel with only being a few videos in. Please keep it up. I’m a vacuum for the content he creates. I’ve almost stopped watching other fishing channels.

    This is the best fishing channel on TH-cam to me. There are a few good ones but Steve's videos are just amazing. I can't understand why he doesn't have 500,000 subscribers. His videos remind me of the old Bass Professor videos. Keep up the great work!

    Wow! This is the best explanation for using different rod power/ action I have ever seen . Also have to say that reaction bite footage was really cool. I actually laughed thinking how funny it looked that the bass couldn't even help himself. He had to get that lure before it got away.😂 Excellent video.

      Lol. I agree. That little bass just had to have that thing. Kind of like me when I walk through the kitchen and there is a cookie there.

    I love these type of videos Steve! One of the first videos I saw like this, way back when, is a bass biting a crankbait then immediately spitting it out before the angler set the hook. I think it was something from Berkley. I enjoyed talking with you on the livestream. Hopefully, I can make the next one. Keep up the good work!

    • @SteveRogersOutdoors
      @SteveRogersOutdoors  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! It is always amazing to me how a fish can swipe at or even eat a crankbait and spit it out untouched. Happens all the time to me on walking topwaters. I really enjoyed the livestream!

    Thanks. Kinda lets me see what I think I'm feeling on the bite .. If that makes sense.. kinda like how to and when to react to what I'm feeling... Again food for thought 🤔🤔

    I really like how you make sure to point out that the presentations anglers use and how they are worked go a long way to determining the types of strike a bass uses. Another great video!

      It is just amazing how many variables go into each cast and presentation. So many times we don't even realize what an impact we are having both good or bad.

    I love these type of underwater videos. You could easily expand on this with a follow up video showing bass picking up baits and moving them off their beds or when they slam a bait to injury it with their iron-like jaws and let it fall.

    Hey Steve! Huge fan! I listen to your videos everyday! I hear a lot of TH-camrs saying medium fast or moderate fast. As if the power and action are one thing! I think it would be a great idea to make a video on the difference between power and action😁

    That was just some awesome footage, especially the reaction strike. Makes me wonder now when I grass fish I leave the bait motionless between 15 to 30 seconds if fishing is tough and seem to do good. I think one the bass lost sight of the bait but to it's in reaction mode and getting upset that the food isn't coming out and when it does bam. Never just a subtle bite it's Bam! BOOM! WHAM! as the old Batman TV shows would cry out...😊

    I saw like 20 bass in like 4-7 feet of water man, i toss a frog, that white jiggy worm, a green wacky warm, a real worm and nothing bit and i could see them they sometime went near it but nothing...was this the spawn? or any reason why? this also is my first time seeing bass with my eyes in a group ( hopefully i can catch one this weekend)

    • @SteveRogersOutdoors

      Depending where you are at, they could definitely be ready for the spawn. They are spawning heavily right now in my area and I am in northern Illinois. When the spawn is going on they definitely get lock jaw for a while. Good luck this weekend! Hopefully you get them figured out and catch 'em!
