One thing different between Baitfuel and other scents is that Baitfuel is water soluble and most other scents are not. Do scents work? If you believe a scent works, then you are going to fish with more confidence! IMHO positive thinking can make a big difference in catch rates! 🤷🏼♂️
been using baitfuel for a year now, I can't say for certain it catches more fish but I can tell you it doesn't hurt , I've caught a ton of fish this year on both baits with baitfuel and without , my two biggest bass so far this year a 6.2 and a 7.1 both were caught on the whiplash shad soaked in baitfuel , probably would have caught them on unscented as well but who knows?
I believe that it works well in the late winter into early spring even the dead of winter I've had situations that it made a difference slow moving plastics etc
I can attest to it working at times. On the lake yesterday side by side with my brother. Same spot same zoom trick worm, one with bait fuel one with out. Bait fuel was getting hammered. Stock worm got bit once. Some days it doesn’t seam to make a difference, some days it does. 🤷🏽♂️. Just my thoughts.
I think scent works but baitfuel does not smell like anything, I have some but you really got to wonder if that stuff is a gimmick, I'm starting to think somebody is laughing all the way to the BANK
I can't find it in stores anymore, but years ago I would use "Bill Dance Real Craw" nothing but crawdad oil, I would catch fish after fish when my friends wouldn't
Did you reapply the scent after a few casts or change to a fresh worm? As mentioned above it's water based so it's going to wear off after a few minutes of fishing. You may have done 35 more minutes of non scented experiment😂
If you add that stuff in the bag it gels up really bad over night just fyi ,i honestly think that stuff is strait up BS the pros pushing more gimmicks $$$ super funny everyone says it smells like nothing so ya'll answered yourself lmao.
I'm not a fan of using any type of scent. It may work some of the time, but not all the time. I rather use my money on buying some more tackle than scent.
If a fish bit unscented, it would have bitten scented. That fact alone makes this test pretty meaningless. Get livescope and find fish that wont bite unscented then see of they bite the scented.
How can this guy say Gary Yamamoto is sent less i thought that's what the salt was for is weight & some salty tasty dilly wackers Got um the easiest wasy to catch 1 million 3/4 lb bass 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah im sponsored aka professional 😂😂 😂😂😂😂😂
I have always believed that scent is used to cover up human scent on lures and not to be an attractant to fish.

I agree

That was the best ever made 🤙🎣
Gotta buy some bottles of it
Good video. Have you tried the osp dice rubber lure? What are your thoughts on it?
I have not tried them!
Wacky rig is most likely a reaction bite. So probably scented wouldn’t matter as much
Wacky rig isn’t much of a reaction from the slow fall
On a day they are biting anyway it’s no difference. Days they aren’t biting well is when you see a difference. And you don’t always see a difference.
True

I did not didn’t think of that
What hook is that you are using for the wacky rig?
VMC Neko hook with fiber weed guards.
He talks about how he rigs his wacky rigs in his wacky rig video

That scent has lasted me over a year and have only used 1/4 of the bottle and cost like 10$. I just put a pea size in the bag and that’s it.
I do watch Fishing with Norby and he uses Thump Gel and he throw a soft plastic or hard bait with this Thump Gel spread all over the bait. 🤔
Never tried it!

I can try to work on that I tried this the best I could

Salt doesn’t add scent just weight and flavor when a fish actually bites it
Don’t use it your doin me favor
Awesome video Nathan. Love your channel brother. Maybe someday I can come fish with you. That would be great. Tight lines bro!!!!💪
Thanks!
