I just installed a set on my 2024 OBW. It came with the mud guards but I wanted the full size flaps. Mine had sheet metal screws into the clips already so I just reused them. The only push fittings I needed to used were the two that held the rear flap to the metal adapter. That one was confusing to me too. I’m so glad you posted this video rewind and look at my parts while watching helped a lot. Thank you!
@@bearswinful They’re made by Weather Tech. They fit perfectly with the body lines and the holes are in the right places. They’re about 3.5-4” below the bottom of the car. They’re equivalent to the Subaru Wilderness edition mud flaps. I paid $114 for a set of 4, screws included. You can also get floor mats for front and rear in black, grey or tan. I also bought the window vents. I think I paid $60-70 for them. We bought a bug shield from Weather Tech as well. The dash cover I bought from Dash Topper. The interior on our Outback is Ivory, so I bought a light tan dash cover for it. I then had it pinstriped with the interior color. Sadly I’ll have to go through Subaru to buy the body side mounding and door edge guards. I go to Weather Tech for almost everything I need. They also have the rubber floor mat for the cargo area if your Subie didn’t come with it.
Just installed mine on OBW 24 in less than 10 minutes because of this video 😊 The funny thing is that the dealer would charged me 30minutes to do this… Thanks buddy 👍
Nice video, the instructions are misleading with the rear clips for the metal bracket. I previously had splashguards so I wasn’t sure what the factory config was without them; this video helped me out. For the front screw in type clips I didn’t realize I was supposed to screw them in. I just pushed all the way in by hand then gave a final push with the screw driver. Do you think that would mess up the fender in anyway?
Just did my 24 OBW. It’s even easier because the front uses screws that I reused after removing the smaller hard plastic splash guards. Only had to use a very small screw in one on each side for the rear.
Great video. 2 questions for you. Is this the correct Part Number: J101SAN400? Also, all four mud flaps came with the order right? Just want to make sure I don’t have to get 2 sets. Thanks!
Thank you for the video. I ordered a 2024 Crosstrek Limited, and the dealership wanted about $375 for the Subaru mudflaps including them installing them. I am just going to order them from a discount Subaru parts online store, and install them myself in their lot when I pick them up and save myself nearly $200. Howe are yours holding up after 10 months?
WoW!! That's insane!! Extra 275.00 for installing these that takes about 5 min? Dealer rip.off is real! LoL. And it's still holding up great! Even with all thr off roading adventures I do, I am very happy with them.
I don't think the mounting holes will line up but I could be wrong. maybe someone else here that tried it could answer your question better than I can.
