I love the bass on my Empire Ears Raven IEMs. I cant imagine what these sound like. These are the top of my wishlisy next to the UM Multiverse Mentor IEMs.
If you had to pick between these and the Noble audio viking ragnar which one would you get. I currently have just two IEMs the Astell&Kern NOVUS and the UM Multiverse UM Multiverse Mentor.
Unfortunately I haven't heard Noble audio IEMs so i cant comment there unfortunately, I think you're pretty much at the endgame with those 2 and you'd have a better luck searching for impressions on headfi
Given your current IEMs, Ragnar would be a better choice since it shines more on treble and mids. XE6 are more similar to your Novus and MM, unless you only like bass-heavy and thick notes. Ragnar is on the other spectrum, more similar to Anni 23. BTW, Anni 23 would be a great alternative to Ragnar.
I get that it is more midbass-focused than the Maestro SE, but how do they compare for your personal taste? Also, how does the high-end compare? I absolutely love the Maestro SE's treble. I've always preferred midbass over sub-bass, but the Maestro SE is the best set I've ever heard. I'm really curious to hear how they compare. I wonder if I can convince my local Addicted To Audio branch to let me demo them 😅
It has quite a different presentation to the Maestro SE. If you're happy with the SE's treble, then the XE6 treble might sound a little too sharp as I find the treble on the Maestro SE a little subdued. I find the mid bass on the Maestro SE a little leaner, at least compared to the XE6 (maestro mini has a touch more mid bass as well). XE6 has a much thicker, fuller bass and slams harder in that area, but Maestro SE rumbles a lot deeper. I'm pretty sure A2A will let you demo if they have it in stock, otherwise I know Minidisc in NSW has it for demo (depending if you're in NSW)
Personally I feel the XE6 bass is just a lot more refined. Talking about bass quality and quantity. Full bodied, rounded, strong and speedy from the XE6. Scarlet and duece carries the quantity, and it does have quality compared to other IEMs within their price range, but compared to the XE6, unfortunately I have to give it to the XE6 personally but that's just my preference.
Yeah but if i'm being completely honest the sound isn't 10X more but that's the nature of this hobby where the little increments demand higher prices. I haven't been to one so I'd love to attend one, someday~
I demo'd these the other day. I own the Scarlet Mini's. These are immensely better. Scarlet does bass better on its own, but the mids and highs are really supressed. The Xenon 6 has incredible staging and an awesome feeling of bass while still being relatively coherent across the whole frequency. Truly incredible for listening to EDM. Great sensation of bass in your ears from the bone conduction. But not too much that it feels weird.
XE6 is all about bass, having that V shaped signature, RN6 is all about delivering the details, that's not to say XE6 is not detailed, but of course with having less bass on the RN6 compared to the XE6 the details come through clearer but if you're all about ungodly bass, XE6 is unmatched. I've got a video on the Radon 6 as well if you'd like to check it out
@@rnarexperience Thanks for the comparison. I realised you got the Radon 6 review right after commented on this and have already watch it. I think you are absolutely right. Just went to zeppelin & co a couple of days ago to try it. I think the bass is really amazing, punches really hard and deep and does not compromise on the details. Have not try out the XE6, just comparing the RN6 to my current mini bass head iem: Oriolus Szalayi. Out of a number of iems I tried that day, I really like RN6, craft ears omnium and vision ears VE10.

Xenon 6 rocks!!! 🤘
It is a head banger
Great review! Now we need a review of the Raven and of the Trifecta to find what’s which set is the undisputed bass king!
Ooooff that highly depends on if I either can get a loaner of those units to test them out
Best bass Iem in the market hands down!! 🔥
For mid bass - * chef kiss * - I'll still give it to the Maestro SE for sub bass
@@rnarexperience agreed 👍
For the price, does it really beat the end game basshead sets such as FatFreq Grand Maestro?
I'd have to get the Grand Maestro to do a full test and comparison

Help please, Which is louder with heavy bass (very loud)?
Back bay tempo 30
Votomy v22
Soundpeats opera 05
Is there a model that you can suggest?
KR 5 Review Please ? This is missing from your well named playlist
I wish i had a chance to try that out, hopefully someday~
saw your review on deuce - do you think deuce or scarlet is better than this if we are talking purely base ?

@ thanks for the feedback. One would hope that the case given the price of the XE6. Hope to meet you in Canjam.

Okay and the Scarlet Minis are also $3300 LESS than the Radon 6, so what do you expect!?
@@michaelp.3485 I didn't really go into it expecting anything, just wanted to compare two iem's that appeal to an equally niche market
Have you tried the Radon 6? If yes how would you compare these 2 ?

Have you tried the Empire Ears Legend Evo ? most people say it's the king of slam, even harder than the Xenon 6.
EVO has more sub-bass while XE has more mid-bass, different taste, I strongly prefer XE6.
Should I get a Empire Raven or the Xenon 6. I’m currently using trifecta.
Wonderful, way out of my budget 🤣🤣
Hahah way out of mine as well XD
Way too muddy and bloated for me 😭
+1 the midrange sounds just off
I guess the tip and fit has lot of influence on that.
