What a great instructional video! This youtube is a mostly garbage video mass, but you totally added value to it with this one. What would be taking this video from an epic tier to god tier would be; with same IR on your load box, you may have used Fryette head ( or any other) in stead of your old Marshall ( by the way it sounds great). Therefore we see how much head make the difference with same IR. Respects and many thanks to you. Cheers.
Glad to hear! Thanks! Please check out my Tube Amps playlist; there’s comparison videos with different amps using the same IR. And there’s more to come with different amps 😊👍
@Euge Valovirta: Bank 1 IR 4 and Bank 2 IR 1 sound incredible! It says on your cheat sheet (OH1-5). I take it as an OwnHammer. But which pack can these be found? And are these 2 mixes of IR with 57 and 121 mics, or an IR that was already mixed in the pack? Sorry for a confusing explanation!
Great tutorial again. I ended in here while looking for info about that Suhr. I've been thinking of getting that Suhr reactive load IR for home recording and practice since I can't play as loud as it would be needed to get decent results when recording with a mic. Is 16 the maximum amount of preset/stored IRs in that Suhr or can you have more without erasing and loading something new? What other similar products would you recommend to check out?
Thanks! 16 is the max you can upload to it but you can easily swap IR's to and from your computer. If you want to have 16 third party IR's on the device then just remove the Suhr IR's from the device to your computer (via USB cable) and you can move them back again anytime and so on. Here's more detailed video I did about the device: th-cam.com/video/UCeCXKEcav8/w-d-xo.html I think Suhr is the most "musical" of the ones I've tried and feels like you'd crank the amp with a real cab most accurately. And it's dead simple to use. Too many knobs and I get confused 'cos I just wanna play :-). Can't really say much about the other brands but at least Two Notes makes great stuff.
What or pack is that Marshall v30 forward from. I have been searching ownhammer site and can’t find the pack that it’s in. Also thanks this was very helpful. You have great tone and have helped with my own tone.
It makes a HUGE difference. Big enough that I build preamps for myself now rather than amps. I don't gig outside the house, so there's just no point. Even if I did, I'd just send my signal out to the FOH.
Which IR gear has the SRV IR speakers cabinets and SRV IR tones? Most IR units doesn't have any SRV IR speakers cabinets or have those SRV IR Tones. The new Boss IR unit doesn't have any SRV IR speakers he used in his cabinets or the added wood plates he added to his cabinets which the IR unit should have.
Thank you for your videos! Would you accept to share how you are equalizing your sound? Do you think that the sound of the KK2203 is the same as yours? Thanks,
I don’t equalize 😎. Well sometimes if I feel that there’s too much of that high ”white noise” I might put a Hi Cut filter but usually there’s nothing going on in the post. KK2203 has KT88 tubes so it’s a bit different beast. It’s been a long time since I played with one but it sounded like 800 on steroids 👌😎.
Great interesting my friend!!!!
Thanks! Cheers!

It’s in Revolution Series libraries -> Single cabinet libraries -> 412 MRCB
Glad to hear! Thanks!

Yes 👍🤘

The old marshall IR's sounds kickass! Is there a database to get free IR's?
Yes they do🔥🤘. No idea about that but the Ownhammer IR pack of the Marshall cab costs under 10€ on their site. The link in the description 👍.
Airis Effects are giving away their IRs right now on their website. They sound massive.
Try Sonic DNA IRs. Free sample pack with over 40 IRs!
I’ve been using Jens Bogren’s lately and absolutely love them but thanks for the tip! 👍
