This was great. One thing I was hoping to see is when I've watched videos of the arm moving up over the head, the top part of the trap stretches as the shoulder blade moves laterally. Or maybe it's the levator scapulae. I thought you would massage gun that too. Because my shoulder blade doesn't move enough I think.

Hello I started doing these exercises. Thanks for the information.
I just wanted to asked do you have any advice/videos on neck/shoulder issues around the collar.
I’m suspecting a pinch nerve however I noticed my issues arise when I wear a shirt/clothes that touch the skin around the collar.
Please if you have any advice I would greatly appreciate any assistant with this issue. It’s a bit of an annoying pain/discomfort feeling all day.

Great video & instant results with my shoulder. One suggestion- is a page we could download with the different motions (upward, sideway, etc. ) and muscle groups so we remember what we are hitting each time. Maybe a diagram is easier? I know watching video does all this, but a cheat sheet to review each time would be helpful.

Thank you for this! Unfortunately for me it didn’t seem to help much. I’m getting a clicking sound every-time I bring my elbow up. I was hoping to get your thoughts as to what is going on with my shoulder… I’ve been going to PT for almost a year at this point. I think I have either a shoulder impingement, tendonitis or bursitis? I developed it over time during COVID due to WFH with a terrible setup ergonomics wise. I ended up hyperextending my right arm without any support for 8-10 hours a day for 2-3 years. I’ve been paying for that ever since. I’ve since updated my setup but my pain still remains. Is this something that could be diagnosed with imaging? I just want to get better. Thank you so much again!

We have been able to help so many who could not with the methods we share to the world but doesn't mean it is the only way. There is a reason our profrssion as a whole helps millions and millions annually and graduates tens of thousands of new doctors a year. All in all our channel features unique and mostly unconventional ways for those who need a "different" answer.

It's more about the direction of the pulling. Generally, pulling a muscle away from your body is going to loosen it or weaken it. Get it to not activate as strongly. While moving toward your body is getting it to tighten up or strengthen. We explain more about this philosophy in our first massage gun video!

I have this cracking sound in my shoulder when I raise my arm above shoulder level, sometimes the crack comes with an uncomfortable pain. I use my massage gun around my shoulder for a few minutes and immediately after that, if I raise my arm again, it's faster with very little (almost unnoticeable) crack sound without pains at all...but this is only temporal, the cracking sound with some pain returns after about 30 minutes to a few hours...I just started a few hours ago.

  • @viikable

That is super dangerous, people please do not watch this guy's advice, many channels here advise how to NOT use massage guns, and they especially should NOT be used near the lymph nodes, nerves and major arteries, some of which happen to be the ARMPIT, which this guy pushes the machine into.
Another thing is that using it on your chest can rupture the bag covering your LUNGS, if you do not have huge muscles there already, so would really stray away from chest too. Just read about it and check what places are safe or not, don't just trust this one video

Can't even touch my other shoulder without pain and that up and down movement feels impossible. Clicking on an OHP but no weakness and even stronger than my non dominant arm.

I have a much more serious version of the same issue. My shoulder has dropped a little and my bicep has caved inwards. My right deltoid is pretty much dead which has made my lats and neck compensate so much to the point where my head is like 1cm out of place to the right. Feels and looks awful, what to do ?

Im diabetic and have been dealing with two frozen shoulders for over two years now. Its excruciating at times. Just ordered a massage gun to give this a try. This is my last resort before deciding on surgery as an option.

Thanks! It worked and hurts less, but afterwards, when I do the elbow movement, I can feel something in my shoulder grind/pop. What is that? I’m guessing it’s something rubbing against bone or cartilage? Is there a way to fix it?

@@nikobusch5974Hey, I found a way to heal it. I used rubber exercise bands to build the stabilizer muscles in my shoulder and back. I hooked the band to a doorknob and pulled out and to the side while keeping my elbow anchored at my waist and bent at a 90-degree angle. I also practiced pulling horizontally and vertically with my arms extended forwards. I also stretched my chest open in the doorframe and hung from the pullup bar to increase flexibility. It took about 1-2 weeks of light exercise every other day and the pain and movement range have improved considerably. Pushups I think are NOT good.
