For preventing breaking axles you must double or triple the spring packs of the truck.
Also never use grease, instead throw every part in the dirt.

No disrespect to the workers hard work and commitment but the axle originally would of failed because the driver overloaded his truck and then bounced it up and down on uneven roads and dirt tracks, so this fix has no chance of lasting very long, it even looks like it was fixed at that point once before.

Let's get real, neither the original tube, nor the first fix weld, nor the new metal insert, nor the new weld-- none of them held or are going to hold up. One more overload going over a bump and it's going to crack again. The inner sleeve is particularly useless as it adds absolutely no bending strength at all.

Would be easier to weld if they cleaned the metal.Welds look gnarly.
It would be easier to fix if they threw the old one away and started from scratch. It probably broke because it was repaired a bunch of times with 6010 farm rod.
I think they do that so it will come back, and they can charge the customer for some more shitty work. It's the gift that keeps on giving. 😂

So one can see where a previous repair was made which failed. Weld prep is terrible, no clean up of joints to be welded just proves these folks should not be making this repair. Maybe the next time if fails it will break off and kill someone. No laws were someone can be sued for these types of repairs means everyone is at risk.
