I just got mine and I was able to figure out normal mode to program for Avid Eleven Rack live useage. Looking at geek mode, I am seeing the possabilities of pages of completely different applications all avalable at a click. Thanks for a great product.
WOW great design! I have quite a few midi controllers but this one seems to pack a lot of functionality in a small portable footprint which is something I was looking for. Thanks
Great! Can we load a different pictures as .jpg to each 16 scenes in Geek Mode? Can we make a led acts next way: Button Pressed Off: 1 of 3 led is glowing low Button pressed On: 3 leds are glowing high ? Can it receive midi in to control led behavior? That option wpuld be supercool to use with DAW to indicate a states, for looper specially. It wluld be super cool to have an option for mini6 wireless))) Thank you very much!) Looking forward for new formware and cooperation)
This solves my problem of having 2 MIDI devices needing separate control. Can I edit in Geek Mode with a text editor the same way I do in non-Geek Mode? Thanks Wilson!
I’d like the ability to disable the page up/down buttons and just have one page of 10 buttons. Could this be added as a future setting? It would also be great if instead of only MIDI In is passed to MIDI Thru, but could be used to change button color or do page up/down or other.
Saludos y muchas gracias!!!
Is there a way in GeekMode to have bank inc/dec similar to UP/DN in normal presets? Basically I want to have two pages...one for presets/scenes and the second for looper and "utilities (tap tempo, etc.) I figured out how to make button D a toggle by setting it for UP on page 1 and DN for page 2. The problem is that I can't figure out how to make the UP and DN buttons (in preset mode) increment the bank similar to how it works on the BIAS FX (preset 2) setting.
I have one unit but I was not able to find if it is possible for the midi commander to receive the midi in information that an effect is already on and the led turn on automatically when changing presets, so retrieving the correct status of that preset effect. I can only see it on and off not properly syncing to the actual effect status.
Yes, because MIDI control is primarily one-way, for module switch states, if the initial state is uncertain, it may take two attempts to synchronize the module's state under the current tone. Some effectors now support status return, such as Kemper Profiler Player, for which we have a special program version that enables bidirectional communication for perfect synchronization. Additionally, we will soon release a Super Mode control version, which, although it is also one-way control, will have a much richer status light design.😄
In Geek mode, there are several led color presets for the three-segment LED, but you cannot define your own. In Supermode(available on 10-switch version soon), there will be a color definition with three sets of square brackets, for example: [0xff0000][0x00ff00][0x0000ff]. These three color values can be different, corresponding to the colors of the three-segment LED. The switches on the top row and bottom row have different segments order, and you can experiment with the order of the segments.
@Wilson-PaintAudio excellent news! I'm using my MIDI Captain STD to control stage lighting via MIDI so being able to see what color combinations each switch brings up will be a massive help.

this is my favorite pedal by FAR
Wow, what a great midi pedal. Ordered.
Congratulations Guys! This is by Far the best and most Flexible MIDI Controller Ive Seen.
Nice! Can this pedal also be controlled through the Midi in? Like can you set the LED status externally? Thanks!
This is a fantastic pedal. I am using geek mode to control helix stomp and iPad looper.

Thanks, Scott! Definitely interested!
Wilson, could you make a video on how to edit the Geek mode presets .txt files, as opposed to programming it via the pedal itself?

Does any know if there’s any way to program a tap tempo switch in Geek Mode?
This solves my problem of having 2 MIDI devices needing separate control. Can I edit in Geek Mode with a text editor the same way I do in non-Geek Mode? Thanks Wilson!
Wilson....is it possible to assign the UP/Down buttons to increment / decrement preset/memory slots on a device?

I think you can do that now... in geek mode

128 buttons, but the LEDs can be a liability in that mode. Hoping that changes.
Hi i have a Valeton gp 200 pedal board and a TC X3 can i use this to change patches on the gp200 and change boards on the TC at the same time?

wilson, in geek mode how do you assign what midi channel the expression pedal is in? is there no way to assign what midi channel it is?
With Quad Cortex preset10, how do I set button 9 for Scene/Preset/Stomp mode toggle? Can this be done with the press/release plus toggle combinations?

Can you please give instructions for programming 3 colors on one LED ring? The preset tri color settings are not the color settings i want to use.

what is GeEk MODE USB SETUP?
Can you please make a video on the Axe Fx 2 and midi captain?
Will this be available in thomann?
We are in contact with Thomann, and it should be possible. Currently, we are also available on Amazon Germany.😊

I feel like a idiot cause I cannot get the effects I want to turn on and off with my Kemper.
