Bought my captain STD black in Amazon, arrived today (To Bogotá, Colombia, Latin America). Just loved and ordered the exp pedal. I can't wait for test it.😁
Got the standard and its accompanying pedal today; purchased it on a whim from Amazon as my son needed a midi-controller to use with his audio interface. Did the unboxing thing and have to say the build quality on the controller and pedal are both top notch. Very sturdy and very nice feel to the switches and pedal travel; you should definitely give kudos to your contract manufacturer (as an EE who deals with CMs I know the challenges). Now I just have to help my teenager learn the ins and outs of MIDI. I'd really like to see what PaintAudio can do in terms of a Audio workstation interface. I'm sure you would offer up something worthwhile based on what i have seen so far. If you used full type-C (super-speed lines at 5Gbps min) seems you could get more channels of 24-bit at high bandwidth without as mush need for buffer memory... of course I am sure you have looked the possibility and what impact it would have on the price point. I have one of the standard edition and its a great companion with my hx stomp. Many many thanks for developing a unit which keeps its settings in well organized text files expressed in python so one can use git for versioning and other tools like editord with syntax coloring. The standalone editor on the device is also the best I know but I really like to work on text-file level for easy copy-replace action to quickly set up presets. The hardware itself is compact and doesn't take up much space on the pedalboard while still giving enough space for my feet while wearing shoes. Its looks superb and the build quality is great. IMHO the Foot Captain is a little bit too small for my rather big feet but on the other hand you'll win a lot of free realestate in comparison using a mission control pedal.
I could really use a video from you on how you are using python, etc. to edit the txt files. My patches have a lot of redundancy as well as customization so using built in editor is slow.
Hi Wilson, How do you hook up the midi captain to the Kushview Element program? It doesn't recognize the pedal but if i plug it into a different device and then use the through of the other device it will work? Any Ideas?
Hi Wilson. Could you make a video using the MIDI Captain with the Quad Cortex? It would be great to use the foot switches on the QC only for scenes and the MIDI Captain for stomps and other functions. Thanks

It's my understanding that each button can send on a separate midi channel. Can the same be done for Exp 1 & 2?
