Wilson 😭 You just changed my life my brother. This shifts everything for us performers who want to incorporate a DAW and VSTs into our live setups 🎉🎉 Celebrating with you!!
Wow! This is really cool man, I’ve never seen anything like that. Congrats! If you ever want a review, let me know 👍 (once you have more in production of course) 🤘
This the kind of technology you get when you have a musician who is also a forward thinking inventor. The MIDI Captain took midi control to a new level. As I learned it was the best device for controlling a BeatBuddy. Glad to see that Wilson and his team are continuing to put out products.
Congratulations Wilson and team. This is an excellent development. I've been gigging with a Mac Mini for some years and this is a tidy approach to using plugins live.
I personally use a pedal when I DON‘T want to use plug-ins. So this is probably not for me. But it looks like others really love the concept. So well done. Best of luck! I hope you have service processes in place, if not, that can antagonise users really quickly. Having to send devices in internationally and having to wait for repairs does not gel with today‘s expectations.
I have been wanting to build something like this with a Raspberry Pi and neural learning software for ages. This has finally given me the motivation to get it built and implement it.
I like your products and your design ideas which are very musician friendly. I’m a bit shocked at the price, but with the interface and screen and the sw integration, I will learn more and perhaps the price is justified. However I am very excited at the possibilities and congratulations on producing a very desirable piece of gear 👍
This is cool, but it’s also funny it’s in a quad cortex shell, the irony is it can do the plugins which makes this even better. I love it, better than the one I built using an interface, tablet and midi controller.
For anyone reading, one of the revolutionary things possible with a device like this, at least for me, is that I could install Midi Guitar 2, which converts any guitar to a midi controller. The possibilities in just that are mind-numbing!
I've been dreaming about this kind of pedal! Crazy how this is now materialized! 🤯 I may not be able to afford this (for now lol) But still, kuddos for making this!
Years ago, I had a series of articles called 'Bringing the Studio to the Stage that made protype versions of this based around laptops and behringer fcb 1010 and an ASIO capable interface. I'm dying to run one of these
Oh man. This looks like exactly what I was hoping it would be when I saw it in the back ground of your other video. If the processor is powerful enough, I can see this thing being and absolute killer for people willing to tinker with their devices.
Dom from NAM / Tonehunt here, congrats on the release! Looks like it could be very useful and a lot of fun! It's great to see you've featured NAM in your demos and on the website, but it would be awesome to see the most recent version of the plugin used in your screen shots. Seems like you've got the much older version from about 18 months ago and a lot has changed since then =)
@@Wilson-PaintAudio Awesome to know that you've been enjoying it! The latest version of NAM is v0.7.11 and is far more stable and better optimized, compared to the version you have been demonstrating, so it may well run more efficiently on your device compared to that old version =) Let alone that, it'd be nice to see the current version on the website, as it simply looks better and makes you guys look more 'with the times'. =)
I've been waiting for something like this! I play guitar and keys/synth. I've wanted to consolidate my setup and start using VST synths live, this seems like the absolute perfect system for playing live! I've dreamt about just showing up with a floorboard, guitar, and midi controller and getting all of my sounds. This might just make that possible
15 years ago roughly this same technology has been released by a small brand. It was too soon probably and the socials weren't that effective..Welcome back to the guitarist floor CE1 :)
I love this concept, and the lack of marketing nonsense is REFRESHING, but... Working with Windows and ASIO driver is a major drag. I switched over to Mac and no longer have the same issues I used to on PC. I wish you all the best success and will watch from the sidelines.
This looks amazing. How low is it possible to get the latency? Of course that depends om what software you are running, but it would be nice to have baseline, like a single nam model, for example. And also a more extensive example with dual amps, + delay and reverb, for instance.
dude what the heck this is amazing my computer kind sucks its a Mac book 2015 air and i was gonna get another one for mainstage but this saves all my problems
Simplify it even more to make it cheaper. I don't want a whole windows OS. Ideally something where I can connect via usb and just copy over or load VSTs (VST3 and VST2), copy over some IR, NAM, AIDAX files, or any arbitrary file to storage on the unit, configure some presets with the loaded VSTs and the config files (i.e. load NAM models, IRs, into VSTs), this unit should have a couple assignable foot switches (assign to bypass/on/off some effects, maybe assign some VST parameters to toggle on/off) and a couple of assignable knobs, it should have in/out/send/return so instrument in (from guitar) / out (to amp) and send/return fx loop option. That would be my dream.
Bom dia para você, Wilson. Acabei de me inscrever no seu canal. Não me leve a mal, é apenas a minha opinião.
I was looking for this 10 years ago! 😅 It's a shame it didn't come out earlier, with guitar processors like tonex and helix, it seems to make very little sense
this basically ends all other modellers out there...NAM on a fully fledged DAW with your fav plugins...I wonder what latency is! with a screen protector of course haha
$1,099.00 USD seems like a bit much... i understand you hand build, but headrush prime is $100 more, helix is about the same and a QC is $500 more... definitely need to rethink the price point to be competitive.
- midi in function to control LEDs on midiCaptain - midi channel fix for midiMate PLEASE! We all already have soundcards, pcs, and your footswitch comtrollers, we just need to work them well.
Yes, I did start with tsmega + iPad before. My current genuine feeling is that one piece truly makes a difference compared to several pieces of devices.
Anyone know if good apps that I could use like MainStage ?? Cause really without MainStage this thing won’t be that great for Musicians there’s not any other apps like MainStage
@@IsaiahByers-xr5np im playing to run it with Ableton to host all my plugins. Ableton is the industry standard for live tracks so it just work just fine as well,
This is cool but when the hardware is outdated, it will lag, it will susceptible to BSOD, unwanted popups. Why not just develop a software that will eliminate all problems that a PC has. Memory will be questionable also since this is kinda like a laptop.
I always do live gigs big stage with my lenovo touchscreen laptop and maudio interface with midi wireless foot controlled and axiom with many vst guitars , and then i need this C1 ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome but I'd love to see from your company an intermediate device that is is almost like this but without the PC hardware, I'd love to have a MIDI Captain that is also an audio interface, 2 ins/outs is enough with very high quality converters and 1MegaOhm input impedance and very low latency
@serbianpunkrock seems they're out of stock on the website. Guess im in a holding pattern. I wonder how well it will work with the HX Stomp and ToneX and ToneX One and MS70CDR...being those are a few of what I already have.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what we've been asking for for 20 years
gotta run reaper on it first.
But the price 😂
@@woodyoulove-reynaldguibone6890 Its on par with any of the big modellers and more powerful and versatile than any of them by leaps and bounds

This is amazing! Especially for simple setups.
The Gigperformer software in this device will be a God Send!
Exactly
DEAR LORD WILSON!
THIS WILL BE IN EVERY GIG IN THE WORLD.
HOLY SHIT!
Awesome product! I just hope to see a notebook battery embedded, for me that's the only key feature missing. Wish the best of luck for you guys o/
Yeah, this wins. Excellent.
They support all neuraldsp plugins before neuraldsp 🤔😅
Seems very very promising! Good job!
Finally I can play Minecraft before gig

Price and where to buy.Looks great
I always wondered why no one has created this before. Well done!
Do you envision people running GigPerformer? REAPER with LBX Stripper? REAPER with SWS LiveConfigs?
So, along with being a full-featured audio interface, this also replaces a computer? Even the monitor?
Hit me up, ill demo the heck out of this.
it would have been great if you included your website URL in the video description.

oh man this isnwhat i need... i wouñd love to use amped plugins live
It’s like Muse receptor 3.0. Except with PC instead of Linux wine. Can’t wait to see if some reviews on it but for now I’ll stick with my FM three.
Would love to see a mac version (just take the guts out of a mac mini for example)... much preferred over Windows :)
Apple will never license that.

Hackintosh?
I can bring this at work and replace my computer.

so cool
This is the most revolutionary device of all time.
Hi there. Can this run Ableton? Is there any preset for looping?
How is MIDI integration for Helix Native?
Take my money. NOW!
wow...price?
You have my respect. But considering the fate of SM Pro Audio V-Machine, V-Pedal and Muse Receptor, I can only cross my fingers.
So would this run audio units such as, for example tonex max

It's Sold Out already!!!
whats the price then??
When i can order one? They are all sold out :(
So what's the price tag?
Buy Helix native, now a Helix. Buy neural plugins? UA? This sounds cool in theory. And a gaming pedalboard/media consumption device?😂🎉
Sold out !? :-(
Simply amazing! 🎉
I am good. Midi captain to iPad Pro on a stand. Much more useful.
Yes, I did start with tsmega + iPad before. My current genuine feeling is that one piece truly makes a difference compared to several pieces of devices.
even better mac mini+ipad as monitor+ interface+ midi captain. If you buy used the rig is less than half of a QC and more powerful
@ I can do that also but I want to keep my rig on battery.
What the heck. I have to ask. Is this real? the Nural Quad Cortex shell, CE-1 is a Boss Chorus. ?
my only question is will this work with any app like mainstage???
Its a windows so no it wouldnt work.
Aw dude that sucks I was gonna go purchase this
Anyone know if good apps that I could use like MainStage ?? Cause really without MainStage this thing won’t be that great for Musicians there’s not any other apps like MainStage
