With 1000+ hours under my belt, this advice is high quality.
Yoo, thank you so much!! Im not the best editor, since i do art and coding way more,, so this actually helped a ton :D i also like the tone of your voice, and the fact that the videos not too slow nor too fast. Hats off to you!
Bro hats off to you, this is my personal channel apart from my content channel, and this video is INSANELY underrated. Keep making these videos man, your doing an amazing job inspiring new and old editors alike.
What is your other channel name?
This is great advice! Tbh you feel like one of the most authentic people who's putting out videos on editing. Love your content!
I've been waiting for this! I loved the previous one, and you didn't disappoint with the new release. You should have way more subscribers with the amount of value you're providing. Please make a course lol
Why on the thumbnail you say my video is boring. I don’t even make videos.
Well then that’s the problem
#notrelatable 😂😂😂
Well your comments are boring so

Beautiful mix of considering the experience of editing AND the mentality of creating videos the way people want to, thank you for mentioning the death of Burnout.
On top of your channel logo, you're just awesome
I would buy your course just to support you.
So, can u give your account... I'll use it I want to learn editing ❤😊😊

Great vid bro! We need more editors like you in the scene!
Mahnnn! Your video is God sent. It has touched on very important things I need to hear as an editor trying to improve, not one just beginning to learn how to edit. I have already made you a mentor of mine and looking forward to learning more from you.
im currently editing my last project for college in my media studies course, this video really helps my gears turning. im gonna listen to some podcasts now, great video!

Freakin banger video dude. Kudos
Holy shit dude, your process table was so helpful, i was really struggling to find some sort of an idea for it! Thank you so much!
The two last points are sooo crucial especially when you get into the flow state. Idk how many times I caught myself sitting down 5h without a real break and the worst part is, when you realize that, you get up and you become dizzy all of a sudden because your mind needs to comprehend reality first before being able to function normally again :D
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
I don't understand how this channel has 6k subscribers, it deserves many more, here's a new one. This is really valuable. I congratulate you!🔝
As an editor for 4 years I even found some stuff that's helpful for me, Love it that your spread some real useful information!
i just started editing 2 weeks ago. man its crazy out there. i have a lot of ideas but i dont really understand the software very much. ill keep trying to get better. thanks for making the video
This video is really well done, the information is high quality. You speaking on things that I, as well as many editors that I know took years to fix through trial and error. I don't see many videos speaks on this topic so i'm glad you're shedding more lightono it
Also. I've been editing for years but only recently started editing TH-cam videos for a client of mine. Prior to this i worked on personal projects and motion graphics. I think im gonna do the "send your videos to other people for review." I usually would just take a break but since I have to learn video editing from a TH-camrr perspective I think this would be an extremely helpful tip
This is a great advice! from all the Editing videos have watched on TH-cam, this one has made me learn almost everything about video editing. Thanks
I love this video, I'll try to keep these rhings in mind!
Dude, incredible video. Thanks.
Another banger video. Thanks for your help man
I hope you keep the videos coming your sharing great info. Little advanced for me but I was able to follow what your talking about. Thanks
Looking at where I was 3 years ago where I really only knew how to splice clips together, and put text and images on the screen to where I am now feels so weird in how much progress I've made. Yet, videos like this always let me know I have more to learn and can keep improving, definitely some great advice!
I like how smooth everything looks in this video❤ I need to chill out on my timelines sometimes
GReat video! really helpful and amazing work

Learning shortcuts was the biggest gamechanger for me
But there is still some room for improvement in the workflow, I take so long sometimes

It's really good advice. Thank you
Hey, I'm a beginner in the editing world and this video is really helpful
bro your storytelling is out of this world.
Can you teach it?
Thanks man! :) Good video!
Hey, this is a cool video. I am trying to incorporate the stuff that has been said into my videos and whatnot. Seeing the progression is insane for you and it motivates me to try and do better. I've only been editing for a couple of years ON and OFF so the basics are there but the advanced stuff is still to come. I only use Da Vinci Resolve (Free Version). I am trying to do better lol but just seeing everyone else's experiences is cool and helps to know that no one starts out amazing.
bro your last video was super entertaining! Can you talk more about pacing and story telling please!
Bro, thank you, really helped! : -D
we need that music folder man, i love the pacing and the music choise. PLEAAAAAAAASE I BEG YOU I NEED THAT PLAYLIST! i have trouble finding non copyrighted music
I get all my music from epidemic sounds!
I'm starting again my TH-cam channel about diabetes and entrepreneurship. I had this video on my feed and is really good. Man, you are good, thanks for this.
watching this while keyframing, ur vids are hella intresting and well edited keep it up bro, thanks for all the tips w out having anyone pay 11.99 a month
You're absolutely right about shortcuts. Have you tried out excalibur?
video editing sometimes becomes nightmares. I have experienced it. it creates sometimes blank mind and empty hearts. thanks to you who said its normal. The youtube journey is not easy. its like a baby who nned 100% care, protection, feed and time.
New subs here nice editing !!!
Question …what are your thoughts on Premiere vs FCPX ?… I’m a newbie 😂thx
Nice tips dude!
thank you so much bro
Perfect, watching this as I'm in the process of making my next video 😅
thank you for allllll THIS
nice video man!
For me it’s so hard to balance out the time I stream and the time I edit… specially with school too… I want to do it all but uploading frequently with high quality is just feels impossible
hey hi,
u said that u wanted ideas for ur new vid, hopefully u see this !
the idea: try making a video in which u kinda keep a dead line and make a certain amount of money in that time frame using ur badass editing skills.(also give some tips abt editing in between).
idea 2: make a long term tutorial based series on editing and use animations in it to attract attention.(or anything u seem good)
idea 3: probably start a gaming or anykinda exploration channel
idea 4:uncover any new editing features or how they do editing in cinemas or anime, drama etc...
idea5: make any small documentaries regarding any topic of ur interest
thats all for now
Hey man, your recent two videos have been a great help for me. I recently got back into editing and have started to use Davinci resolve and have learnt the basics however I don't know where to go from here? I'm always asking my friends what I should make and I reckon they're getting a lil tired of me always asking them so where do I start in terms of editing for people?
Man, i love how this video is put together! Dyou have like a discord or something?
Great video !
true gold mine dude you got a sub!!
