bro editing on mobile is annoying as hell bro i been editing on mobile since 2019 not every app have everything i need, like alightmotion, the closet app to AE but hell naw velocity is not possible on ios if i wanna do 3d cinematic i had to switch to node video for that to happen

No need to say this video is helpful, you know that. But I think there is a thing which resonated with me the most. That is the idea of implementing new things gradually. There is no reason to try to control every aspect of the process if that comes to the cost of not producing and learning more. I also think it helps a lot if you have someone who's on the same plane as you, so you can learn together. That's something I'm looking for... someone starting TH-cam or a hobby relating any type of content creation with similar vibe. BTW, super nice to see you reaching 100k views with this video. Keep it going!

Another banger of a video! As an editor myself I think this is great advice so hats off to you. The only part I only partially agree with is the courses bit. I've personally bought one single course and even though I could find 90% of this info on TH-cam it saved me weeks/months looking for same information on YT (and it wasn't expensive either) so worth it in my book. Totally agree on the liars selling dreams though.

I just ended an interview with a client looking for a part-time editing that's willing to have up to 40 hours per week and complete videos per day. Whether it was 5-10 shorts or a full length video with graphics, sfx, vfx, in a single day. I told them my process takes about a week or at least 3 days for 1 video. They said they wanted high quality content, I checked their channel, 5 views or 10 views max filled with corporate expectations. The pay was 35$ / hour with insurance and a 401k.

7:50 If you listen closely, you can hear that he added a very subtle ticking sound. But the sound is not in sync with the visuals! This ruined the entire video for me. Now I'm going to unsubscribe and dislike this video and tell all of my friends about how bad this video is. I might also mass-report this video with multiple accounts to get it taken down so nobody has to see this abhorrent creation of yours.

Great video bro! It's so easy to miss things when your focus is spread so thin. Taking a break and returning may seem like a waste of time to some, but can really save you from uploading errors in your videos.
